Pakistan Protests Desecration of Quran in Norway 😮

The head of Norway's extreme right-wing group, Stop the Islamisation of Norway, held a protest against Islam and attempted to burn a copy of the Quran. Umer Ilyas, a Muslim man, prevented the desecrating of the scripture, but the leader of the group threw it in a waste container in the presence of a police contingent. Ilyas was arrested by the police and is being hailed as a hero by Muslims worldwide. Pakistan summoned Norway's ambassador to the Foreign Office to express "deep concern" over the incident. Pakistan's ambassador in Oslo has been directed to convey Pakistan's protest and deep concern to Norwegian authorities.
