Holaa gente bonita de Hivee!! Hoy me hace muy feliz compartirles este video, ya que el día sábado fui de nuevo a un social después de más de un año por la pandemia, y no saben mi emoción y felicidad al respecto todavía jajaja...

Qué es un social? | What is a social?

Es un evento que se realiza en un determinado lugar en el que gente se reúne única y exclusivamente para bailar. En estos sitios se coloca más que todo Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba y en algunas ocasiones Merengue, puros ritmos latinos bailables, por supuesto. En los sociales asisten bailarines o gente que está comenzando a bailar o quieren aprender, lo diferencia de una fiesta común el que acá verás a pocas personas sentadas y pendientes de tomar o comer, todo el mundo está pendiente de bailar en estos sitios.

It is an event that takes place in a certain place where people gather exclusively to dance. In these places they put mostly Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and sometimes Merengue, pure Latin danceable rhythms, of course. The socials are attended by dancers or people who are just starting to dance or want to learn, the difference from a common party is that here you will see few people sitting and waiting to drink or eat, everyone is waiting to dance in these places.

Mi historia | My history

Esa primera vez y una de las ventajas de ir a estas reuniones cuando eres bailarín es que posiblemente te inviten a bailar personas que sepan o más que tu en el momento, o sepan pasos, figuras que tu antes no habías hecho y eso me pasó a mi. Me sacaron a bailar chicos que Diooos, en ese momento para mi eran súper avanzados jajaja, y lo bonito es que uno en especial se dio cuenta que yo sabía muy poco y me repitió una figura como tres veces para que la aprendiera jaja, eso para mi fue bonito y así es en general en estos sitios, la gente es humilde, todos aprendemos del uno al otro cuando bailamos con gente que no conocemos, lo importante es bailar, aprender y disfrutar al máximo.

Después de esa primera vez yo quedé encantada y me entró la fiebre y les juro que todos los domingos iba, muy poco dejaba de ir, me acompañaba una tía e íbamos muchos de la escuela, estábamos siempre en grupo, y se pasaba súper bien.

Since I started in the world of these dances, in Salsa and Bachata there came a time when I began to hear in school of these socials, one day I went to one that they did until before the pandemic every Sunday, by then I was in basic basic basic, that is what I knew of figures and partner dancing was very little, and when I got to that place and saw many people dancing, being happy, sharing I simply fell in love.

That first time and one of the advantages of going to these meetings when you are a dancer is that you may be invited to dance people who know or more than you at the time, or know steps, figures that you had not done before and that happened to me. I was asked to dance by guys that Diooos, at that time for me were super advanced hahaha, and the nice thing is that one in particular realized that I knew very little and repeated a figure like three times for me to learn haha, that was nice for me and so it is generally in these places, people are humble, we all learn from each other when we dance with people we do not know, the important thing is to dance, learn and enjoy to the fullest.

After that first time I was delighted and I got the fever and I swear that every Sunday I went, I rarely stopped going, I was accompanied by an aunt and many of us from school went, we were always in a group, and we had a great time.

Y el sábado volver a ir a un social para mi fue súper especial, estaba de un feliz de volver a estar en ese ambiente (súper sano de hecho) ver gente bailar, inspirarme de viendo a otros bailarines, bailar con gente desconocida, de verdad no saben la emoción, estuve sonriendo toda la tarde, me disfruté cada canción como no tienen ideaa. Además que a raíz de toda la pandemia ¡volví a bailar Salsa Casinooo! que es lo que me ven bailando en el video, en serio tenía más de un año sin bailar casino como es y uff de verdad que fui muy feliz ese día jaja...

After some time I started to get a little less feverish, I didn't go so often, and the last social I went to was the Ajíes social, the same one I went to this time. The first time there was an open space of one of the most important theaters in my city, the Teresa Carreño Theater, the dance floor was quite small but you could still dance even if you bumped into people hahaha. Today they have their own place near the theater, really with some pretty cool facilities, with a little more space for dancing than the previous place, but as you can see in the video, there were people everywhere and you still had to be careful. This place sells drinks and food, but what characterizes it and I dare say has given it fame is that they provide the space for these socials and well you have the option to have a drink or eat something, right there.

And on Saturday I went back to a social for me was super special, I was very happy to be back in that environment (super healthy in fact) to see people dancing, get inspired by watching other dancers, dancing with unknown people, you really do not know the excitement, I was smiling all afternoon, I enjoyed every song like you have no idea. Also, because of all the pandemic I came back to dance Salsa Casinooo! which is what you see me dancing in the video, seriously I had more than a year without dancing casino as it is and uff really I was very happy that day haha ....

Y nada chicos esto ha sido todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado y entretenido el video y mi historia, yo espero seguir yendo con frecuencia a más sociales y grabarles mejores videos, ese día estábamos tan pendientes de disfrutar y estar presentes que de broma nos acordamos de grabar jaja, así que bueno espero en otra oportunidad grabar videos mejores, porque quiero también jeje.
