¡Espero se encuentren muy bien gentecita linda, bienvenidos a un nuevo video! Durante los 5 días de esta semana se han hecho clases abiertas en @yoysalseros, y el video de hoy es referente a mi clase del día lunes sobre Musicalidad y Pasos Libres de Bachata.

I hope you're doing great beautiful people, welcome to a new video! During the 5 days of this week there have been open classes at @yoysalseros, and today's video is about my Monday class on Bachata Musicality and Free Steps.

No asistieron muchas personas a la clase pero hubo una buena energía y la clase la disfrutamos mucho. Comenzó con un Conversatorio sobre Musicalidad, dictado por mi, jeje🥰, yo amo enseñar esto porque tengo el privilegio de contar con un muy oído musical y, además ser musical es muy importante a la hora de bailar, porque es lo que te hace marcar diferencia por el simple hecho de que nada mejor como moverte al ritmo y estar en armonía con la canción. Hace nada escuché que "los bailarines somos la expresión física de la música" y es justo así... respetar e interpretar cada momento de la canción correctamente hace del baile una experiencia más disfrutable tanto para el bailarín, como para la vista del espectador.

Luego de esa parte teórica de la clase, pasamos a un calentamiento y para comenzar a enseñar una secuencia que preparé para la ocasión, algo bastante sencillo que pudiese estar adaptado a diferentes niveles ya que fue una clase abierta, pero sin dejar de ser gustosa y bonita como me gusta jaja. Todo ese proceso fue bastante chevere, practicamos bastante, si tenía un cierto nivel de difultad sobre todo en esa parte netamente instrumental de la canción, pero es que mi idea era esa, bailar acorde a la estructura de la canción para que se pudiese entender mejor lo enseñado en el Conversatorio.

Not many people attended the class but there was a good energy and we enjoyed the class a lot. It started with a Conversation on Musicality, dictated by me, hehe🥰, I love teaching this because I have the privilege of having a very musical ear and, besides being musical is very important when it comes to dance, because it is what makes you make a difference for the simple fact that nothing better than moving to the rhythm and being in harmony with the song. I recently heard that "dancers are the physical expression of the music" and it is just like that... respecting and interpreting each moment of the song correctly makes the dance a more enjoyable experience for both the dancer and the viewer.

After that theoretical part of the class, we went to a warm up and to start teaching a sequence that I prepared for the occasion, something quite simple that could be adapted to different levels since it was an open class, but still being nice and pretty as I like haha. The whole process was quite cool, we practiced a lot, if I had a certain level of difficulty especially in that purely instrumental part of the song, but that was my idea, to dance according to the structure of the song so you could better understand what was taught in the Conversatorio.

Y el resultado final me gustó bastante, no tenía por qué salir perfecta la secuencia, lo importante era que se disfrutara, se aprendiera y se pasara un rato diferente, así que estoy satisfecha porque se logró el objetivo!

And I liked the final result, the sequence didn't have to be perfect, the important thing was to enjoy, learn and have a different time, so I'm satisfied because the goal was achieved!
