Happy Hive Community Day. This is my entry for week 96 of Open Mic. An invitation made by the user @ebingo called "Mi Melodía". On this occasion I want to share with you a beautiful song, music by Rodrigo Troconis and lyrics by Manuel Graterol Santander.

It was originally interpreted by María Teresa Chacín, since it was written for her. They say that she told Graterolacho that she always wrote to everyone, but that he had never dedicated a few words to her. At that moment, he took a napkin and told her: "I am going to write you what love really is". Later, he met the composer Rodrigo and showed him the lyrics, to which he replied: "Let's put this poem to music", and thus this beautiful Venezuelan passage was born.

This story has been told by Maria Teresa herself in interviews. It seems to me that destiny did its part to unite these three artists and that is why this is the melody I want to highlight regarding the theme of the week. ¡Feliz día comunidad de Hive!. Esta es mi entrada para la semana 96 de Open Mic. Una invitación realizada por el usuario @ebingo llamada "Mi Melodía". Con este motivo quiero compartir con ustedes una hermosa canción, música de Rodrigo Troconis y letra de Manuel Graterol Santander.

Originalmente la interpreta María Teresa Chacín, ya que fue escrita para ella. Cuentan que ella le dijo a Graterolacho que siempre le escribía a todo el mundo, que nunca le había dedicado unas palabras a ella. En ese instante, él tomo una servilleta y le dijo: "te voy a escribir qué es realmente el amor". Más tarde, se encontró al compositor Rodrigo y le mostró la letra, a lo que él respondió: "Vamos a ponerle música a este poema", y así nació esta hermoso pasaje venezolano.

Esta historia la ha contado la misma María Teresa en entrevistas. Me parece que el destino hizo de las suyas para unir a estos tres artistas y por eso es la melodía que quiero resaltar respecto a la temática de la semana.
