The main purpose of keeping 600 Trump forces in Syria is not for any interest of the USA or its people, on the contrary, it's against all US interests in the region and beyond, and also at the very cost of the lives of the now turned mercenaries protecting oil thieves in the country.
An Israeli company got a written approval from the Kurdish leaders to explore and extract Syrian oil, the Kurds do not own the land and thus the agreement is illegal by itself, just like a thief giving a written ownership of someone else's house!
The irony is Trump not hiding his part in stealing, he's bragging about it, but he's hiding who is the real beneficiaries of this theft.
