Lebanon: Clashes protesting the visit of Gebran Bassil to Kafr Matta town

Yesterday, Lebanon witnessed a redo of their 15 years civil war of last century, could be a warm-up and could be just to protect the shrinking fiefdom of one of the warlords who felt his microscopic empire is threatened by a growing opponent who was one of the closest ally just months ago against Syria.

A sitting minister in the Lebanese government and the head of the largest political bloc in the parliament was en-route to visit one of the towns in Lebanon and another sitting minister from the locality he intended to visit was awaiting him when the armed militia of warlord and an opponent to them opened fire at the motorcade of the minister in an assassination attempt and did kill two of his bodyguards.
