El Viernes 08 de Abril del año 2022, Monagas Sport Club se enfrento al Zulia Fútbol Club por la fecha siete de la primera división del Fútbol Profesional Venezolano, en el Estadio Monumental de Maturín.
Un encuentro parejo en los primeros minutos, y que luego se abrió, gracias a los futbolistas individuales que tiene el conjunto oriental.
Zulia Fútbol Club, no reaccionó en el segundo tiempo y se llevó una dolorosa derrota en su visita a la fortaleza azulgrana.

On Friday, April 08, 2022, Monagas Sport Club faced Zulia Fútbol Club for date seven of the first division of Venezuelan Professional Football, at the Monumental Stadium in Maturin.
It was an even match in the first few minutes, and then opened up, thanks to the individual players that the eastern team has.
Zulia Fútbol Club did not react in the second half and suffered a painful defeat in their visit to the azulgrana fortress.
