El Jueves 14 de Abril del año en curso, Monagas Sport Club visito a Academia Puerto Cabello en el Estadio de la Bombonerita, en un compromiso correspondiente a la fecha 8, que contó con el pitazo inicial a partir de las 7:30 de la noche (hora venezolana).
Un partido emocionante, en donde el cuadro de la visita se adueño de la posición del balón y mantuvo una buena defensa en los primeros 45' minutos.
Aunque, el duelo se mantuvo parejo, el segundo tiempo sería de muchas emocionantes y de jugadas colectivas que terminaron en gol.
