Body Flow Series #21: Back Flexibility
Hi everyone! Can you believe it's my 21st entry in my Body Flow Series? Thank you for those who spend time watching my journey - from the bottom of my heart I really do appreciate you.
Today's video features a very back-demanding pole trick for me, I do not have a name for it but it really hurt my inflexible lower back (0:43 in this video). It hurt especially when I grabbed my left foot with my left hand and pull it towards my head - I felt my lower back screaming to me to just let go. I was able to hold it though.
I was never flexible with my back - I do a lot of exercises to improve its mobility. Just to pull off this combo, I had to mobilize and condition my back for 40 minutes before I could actually train them. I really wish sometimes I had that natural flexibility - but we can't choose what we're born with -right? We just have to work on what we have.
