[ESP-ENG] Música x medicinas: concierto a beneficio de adultos mayores en Barquisimeto

Hola amigos de 3Speak y EspaVlog, hoy estoy feliz y contenta de encontrarme nuevamente con todos ustedes en HIVE.

Hoy les comparto un video en el concierto Música x Medicinas realizado en Barquisimeto, se trata de la cuarta edición de este evento en la ciudad musical de Venezuela y es una iniciativa promovida por el Programa Venezolano de Educación Acción en Derechos Humanos (Provea) y la ONG RedesAyuda.

La jornada fue realizada en la sede del decanato de Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), una de las principales universidades públicas de la región, en donde las personas se acercaban a disfrutar de buena música en intercambio de medicamentos.

Algo importante de mencionar de esta iniciativa es que las medicinas recaudadas serían donadas a la Fundación Geriátrico Mis Años de Vida en donde se encuentran más de 37 adultos mayores. Todos conocen la situación que vive Venezuela y esta es una población vulnerable ante la crisis económica y social que vive el país, las organizaciones son grandes acompañantes y estas son las actividades que hay que apoyar, asistiendo, donando y difundiendo.

Y por supuesto también agradecer a los artistas que se presentaron, desde Valencia a La Tinta y Desierto Polar, desde la capital Agente Extraño y entre los talentos locales estaban Marco Govea Trío como representación de la UCLA acompañado del cuatrista Narciso Díaz y Jesús Váquez, también escuchamos a la reconocida banda de Ska Doctor No, anteriormente las he escuchado en vivo y son bastante queridos en la ciudad.

Disfruté la tarde llena de buen rock venezolano, entre buena música y un bonito propósito.

Music for medicine: concert to benefit senior citizens in Barquisimeto

Hello friends of 3Speak and EspaVlog, today I am happy and glad to meet again with all of you in HIVE.

Today I share with you a video on the concert Música x Medicinas held in Barquisimeto, this is the fourth edition of this event in the musical city of Venezuela and is an initiative promoted by the Venezuelan Program of Education Action on Human Rights (Provea) and the NGO RedesAyuda.

The event was held at the Dean's Office of Humanities and Arts of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), one of the main public universities in the region, where people came to enjoy good music in exchange of medicines.

Something important to mention about this initiative is that the medicines collected would be donated to the Fundación Geriátrico Mis Años de Vida (My Years of Life Geriatric Foundation) where there are more than 37 elderly people. Everyone knows the situation that Venezuela is going through and this is a vulnerable population in the face of the economic and social crisis that the country is going through, the organizations are great companions and these are the activities to support, assisting, donating and spreading the word.
