Hola, un gran saludo a cada uno de ustedes, hoy tengo el gusto de contarles como ha sido el aprendizaje de mi hijo en casa, como mamas cumplimos muchos roles y uno de ellos es convertirnos en maestras al enseñar a nuestros niños, un papel sumamente importante para sus vidas en el crecimiento y desarrollo que comienza en el hogar. Desde que están pequeños comenzamos pronunciándole palabras para que ellos vayan desenvolviendo la lengua y poco a poco aprendan a decirlas, allí comienza nuestro rol de maestra, más adelante cuando ya tienen un poco de entendimiento les vamos mostrando algunas cosas para que las visualicen y aprendan, como objetos, colores, lugares y demás.

Desde que mi hijo comenzó a pronunciar palabras le fui enseñando a decir las vocales, nombres de la familia, animales, juguetes, etc. Ya mi niño tiene 3 años y en estos meses se me ocurrió la idea de hacer en hojas grandes las vocales y los números del 1 al 10, además de pequeños cuadritos de colores cortados de un block de papel lustrillo, el cual ha sido de gran ayuda y aprendizaje para él, dónde ha logrado identificar las letras ya que solo sabia pronunciarlas más no las conocía visualmente; los números si han sido un poco más difíciles de aprender, solo sabe decirlos verbalmente del 1 al 5, pero no los entiende muy bien visualizados aún; en cuanto a los colores si se los aprendió muy bien, le fui enseñando como un juego de memoria, volteando los cuadritos y levantando uno por uno, el cual fue divertido para él, animándose y jugando ambos.

Hello, a big greeting to each one of you, today I am pleased to tell you how my son has been learning at home, as moms we fulfill many roles and one of them is to become teachers by teaching our children, an extremely important role for their lives in the growth and development that begins at home. Since they are small we start pronouncing words for them to develop the language and gradually learn to say them, there begins our role as a teacher, later when they already have a little understanding we show them some things to visualize and learn, such as objects, colors, places and so on.

Since my son started to pronounce words I taught him to say the vowels, family names, animals, toys, etc. Now my son is 3 years old and in these months I came up with the idea of making large sheets of paper with the vowels and numbers from 1 to 10, plus small colored squares cut from a block of lustrillo paper, which has been of great help and learning for him, where he has been able to identify the letters since he only knew how to pronounce them but did not know them visually; the numbers if they have been a little more difficult to learn, he only knows how to say them verbally from 1 to 5, but does not understand them very well visualized still; as for the colors if he learned them very well, I was teaching him as a memory game, flipping the squares and lifting one by one, which was fun for him, cheering up and playing both.

También comenzó preescolar, como les comenté en un post anterior, dónde ha tenido la oportunidad de aprender más cosas, tiene una buena profesora, solo asisten dos días a la semana a clases por la situación del virus del Covid-19, por lo cual envían tareas para el hogar que deben realizar con la ayuda y orientación de los padres, allí asumo nuevamente mi papel de maestra. Puedo decir que es un poco difícil ya que mi niño se distrae mucho y cuesta para que se concentre, quizá por la edad o por estar en el hogar, en esos momentos es donde intento no perder la paciencia y con todo mi amor le voy explicando y enseñando como hacer la tarea correspondida, ayudándolo porque aún le cuesta un poco tomar el lápiz y colorear. Una de las técnicas que he utilizado para que mi niño se concentre y preste atención es ubicarnos en un sitio de la casa solos, sin juguetes, sin música, sin nada y para no presionarlo lo dejo descansar por unos minutos si se siente abrumado, el cual si ha funcionado.

He also started preschool, as I told you in a previous post, where he has had the opportunity to learn more things, he has a good teacher, they only attend classes two days a week because of the Covid-19 virus situation, so they send homework to be done with the help and guidance of parents, there I assume again my role as a teacher. I can say that it is a little difficult because my child is very distracted and it is hard for him to concentrate, maybe because of his age or because he is at home, in those moments is where I try not to lose patience and with all my love I explain and teach him how to do the corresponding homework, helping him because it is still a little hard for him to take the pencil and color. One of the techniques I have used for my child to concentrate and pay attention is to place us in a place in the house alone, no toys, no music, nothing and not to pressure him I let him rest for a few minutes if he feels overwhelmed, which has worked.

Otra de las cosas que tengo en mente para realizar y poner en práctica con mi pequeño es hacer en hojas grandes las letras del abecedario, las figuras geométricas y frutas, enseñando primero una y después la otra y así ir añadiendo cosas nuevas para su aprendizaje.

Gracias por leerme, espero te puedan funcionar alguna de las ideas que he implementado para educar en casa, teniendo presente que siempre debemos hacer las cosas con amor y paciencia, escuchando y entendiendo a nuestros pequeños. Se puede realizar de manera didáctica como juegos de memoria, rompecabezas, etc. El cual será de gran diversión donde disfrutaran y estarán animados obteniendo el aprendizaje. Saludos.

Another thing I have in mind to do and put into practice with my little one is to make on large sheets of paper the letters of the alphabet, geometric shapes and fruits, teaching first one and then the other and thus adding new things for him to learn.
