Good afternoon hive colleagues today I come to share a musical improvisation on the guitar like les paul mark vorson, I have some time, so I am trying to discover new sounds with the guitar, behind this video there are several hours of trying to discover sounds I like them, but I think that the limitations are my sound card that does not allow to have a greater gain on the guitar, and therefore, I cannot have a sustain as I would like, in the style of Gary Moore or Joe Satriani, for this you need amplifiers that emulate the sound very well, but hey, it is not an impediment to work and enjoy what I have at hand.

I share the configuration used in amplitube 4, where we can observe the tuner, always important so as not to produce very ugly notes when out of tune, a compressor pedal to limit very high or very low sounds, well according to my understanding it is for that, and because when using it it seems to me that the sound is more compact and better, the amplifier emulates a typical table type in metal sound, so it is not necessary to use a distortion pedal, I have been experimenting, but again, by putting the distortion you hear a lot of unwanted sounds, which I try to reduce with another pedal and with different settings, but by doing so I still do not get a professional sound and therefore I prefer to continue experimenting.

Finally, I share the used backing track available on youtube, whose bpm is 90, and the key of the song is Em, so it is a well-known scale for guitarists to make improvisations along the entire neck of the guitar, I have heard advice from Nick Johnson where he mentions that it is better to use a single scale for a long time, to memorize it completely and from there to study the musical intervals and then give it the characteristic sounds of the Greek modes and infinity of existing scales, which usually You have to modulate throughout the song or rather, every time the chord is changed, usually good guitarists, experts and scholars, are able to use a different scale for each chord, achieving sounds that not many others are capable of reproducing. , but that is due to his mastery and many years of study with the guitar.
