En estos días tomé la iniciativa de escribir un pequeño cuento, la verdad no tenía ningún motivo muy profundo, sólo quería narrar una pequeña historia y me dispuse a hacerlo.

La protagonista de mi cuento se llama Celeste y es una niña con grandes aspiraciones (como yo). Se me ocurrió que podría dibujarla y también contar su historia, no es ni cerca mi mejor dibujo pero es trabajo honesto, además de que estaba probando como grabarlos.

Creo que quedó bastante bien para ser la primera vez grabando un dibujo, sin más preámbulos que disfrutes del cuento:

Celeste la astronauta

Había una vez una niña llamada Celeste, tenía 10 años de edad, vivía con su mamá, papá y su hermano menor en una pequeña casa de madera. La casa tenía 3 habitaciones, una sala, un baño, una cocina y un balcón.

Celeste era una niña muy inteligente que le gustaba mucho estudiar y jugar con su hermano Elías. Ella cursaba el cuarto grado de educación primaria y su materia favorita era matemáticas. Solía decir que cuando fuese grande quería ser astronauta y descubrir si había vida en otros planetas.

Una noche Celeste estaba jugando con su hermano en el balcón de su casa cuando observó un objeto volador no identificado, es decir, un OVNI, su impresión fue tal que salió corriendo, pero, no del susto, sino de la emoción, porque estaba totalmente segura de que era una muestra de que había vida en otros planetas.

Cuando se asomó nuevamente al balcón no vio nada, pero, ya había encontrado una motivación para seguir estudiando. En los años posteriores, Celeste continuó siendo una alumna dedicada, se interesó en física, química, matemáticas y cuando tuvo edad suficiente realizó la prueba de ingreso a la carrera de Lic. en Física.

Duró 5 años estudiando física, y logró obtener el primer lugar en la promoción, allí conoció al señor Einstwell, de la empresa astronómica Planetas Einstwell, C.A., quien gracias a su excelente rendimiento académico, le ofreció trabajar de la mano en su primera misión al espacio.

Celeste no lo pensó dos veces, y aceptó su propuesta, convirtiéndose en la primera mujer de la compañía en visitar el espacio. Al volver de este viaje, su familia la recibió con mucha alegría y organizó una pequeña fiesta en su humilde casa.

A la fiesta asistieron algunos compañeros de la universidad de Celeste, los vecinos y algunos trabajadores de la compañía. Durante el brindis, le preguntaron a Celeste cuál fue su motivación para estudiar física y dedicarse al área de la astronomía. A lo que ella respondió que cuando tenía 10 años observó pasar un OVNI, específicamente un 12 de diciembre. Todos aplaudieron el gran discurso de Celeste, y se dispusieron a celebrar.

Y así Celeste fue feliz el resto de su vida, sin saber que ese 12 de diciembre, su vecina estaba jugando con un frisbee y fue justamente ese objeto volador el que vio pasar.

These days I took the initiative to write a little story, the truth is I didn't have any very deep reason, I just wanted to tell a little story and I set out to do it.

The protagonist of my story is called Celeste and she is a girl with great aspirations (like me). It occurred to me that I could draw her and also tell her story. It's not even close to my best drawing but it's honest work, and I was trying out how to record them.

I think it was pretty good for the first time to record a drawing, without further ado you'll enjoy the story:

Celeste the Astronaut

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Celeste, she was 10 years old, she lived with her mom, dad and her little brother in a small wooden house. The house had three bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony.

Celeste was a very smart girl who liked to study and play with her brother Elias very much. She was in the fourth grade of elementary school and her favorite subject was math. She used to say that when she grew up she wanted to be an astronaut and find out if there was life on other planets.

One night Celeste was playing with her brother on the balcony of her house when she saw an unidentified flying object, that is, a UFO, her impression was such that she ran away, but not out of fright, but out of emotion, because she was totally sure that it was a sign that there was life on other planets.

When she looked out on the balcony again she saw nothing, but she had already found a motivation for further study. In the years that followed, Celeste continued to be a dedicated student. She became interested in physics, chemistry, and mathematics and when she was old enough she took the entrance exam for her degree in physics.

She lasted 5 years studying physics, and managed to get the first place in the promotion, there she met Mr. Einstwell, from the astronomical company Planets Einstwell, C.A., who thanks to her excellent academic performance, offered her to work hand in hand in her first mission to space.

Celeste didn't think twice about it, and accepted his proposal, becoming the first woman in the company to visit space. When she returned from this trip, her family received her with great joy and organized a small party in their humble home.

The party was attended by some colleagues from Celeste's university, the neighbours and some of the company's workers. During the toast, they asked Celeste what her motivation was for studying physics and devoting herself to the area of astronomy. To which she responded that when she was 10 years old she observed a UFO pass by, specifically on December 12th. Everybody applauded Celeste's great speech, and they were ready to celebrate.

And so Celeste was happy for the rest of her life, not knowing that on that December 12th, her neighbor was playing with a Frisbee and it was just that flying object she saw passing by.
