El cambio de clima en Argentina se manifiesta en el ambiente; el frío se siente y las personas cambian de indumentaria con tecnología que proteja del frío del otoño. La sensación térmica a muchos afecta que recurren a otras alternativas para buscar calor, existen diferentes aparatos eléctricos que con el tiempo han mejorado el funcionamiento o sistema para responder a las necesidades y prioridades de los usuarios. Por eso hoy les presento mi última adquisición para crear un ambiente cálido en mi hogar mientras trabajo o escribo para Hive.

So today I present my latest acquisition to create a warm atmosphere in my home while I work or write for Hive.

No pensé que comprar un aparato para calentar un lugar en el hogar fuera una tarea difícil. Observar varios aparatos y tomar la decisión me resto confianza; cometí el gran error de ignorar las características del aparato y las del ambiente. El mercado ofrece diferentes modelos para climatizar, entre ellos: aires acondicionados, calefactores y convectores. Las presentaciones de los calefactores varían en tamaños, formas, diseños, marcas, avances tecnológicos y precios; pero hubo un calefactor que me interesó, este aparato viene categoría A+, el mayor ahorro en consumo de electricidad y eso hizo que tomara la decisión de la compra, pero al llegar a casa olvidé algo importante la relación del aparato y el espacio.

Segundo, están los panales que usan resistencia únicamente como forma de convención y transportan el calor en el ambiente de manera más lenta, a través de una rejilla que libera el calor y es conveniente considerar los metros donde se usará para la eficiencia del mismo.

Hay versiones que vienen con control remoto, wifi y de acuerdo al tamaño o la marca son más costosos. Sin embargo, decido comprar este calefactor porque tiene un diseño bonito, ahorrador, liviano, silencioso, mide 50 cm de alto y 42 cm de ancho y fácil de limpiar; desconozco la reputación de la marca, pero al parecer tiene sus detractores y entusiastas.

El gran error que cometí es que este calefactor electrónico es que no calienta rápido, aunque tenga potencia entre 500W y 1000W, el espacio supera la capacidad para climatizar y además es un peligro para los niños porque la parte frontal es de vidrio y se calienta; otro rasgo es que al encenderlo por primera vez emana un olor fuerte hasta que desaparece; las bases para sostenerse son de plásticos, así que no son confiables, también cuenta con la opción de instalar en la pared; un último punto acerca de este calefactor es que el cable es corto y dificultad posicionar en el lugar deseado.
