My friends at #SoundMusic, you are welcome once again to a musical post on my little personal blog in the community. It's been more than a year, I think, since my last participation in a Talent Sound Music, I remember that the last one was the Women's Month. I found this new contest interesting since I finally had a song for my participation, which fit the theme almost perfectly: "For world peace."

The song I chose for this opportunity is a Spanish version adapted by the group of tenors and talented Italian singers IL DIVO, entitled "Hallelujah", which belongs to the composer Leonard Cohen, in English as its original language. It appeared for the first time on the album "Songs of love" published in 1984 and since then it has become a classic to be remembered for many years by the artist, being so popular that the tenor quartet made an adaptation into Spanish. .

The version that I interpret for you, in Spanish, I interpreted in December 2021 at the Luis Mariano Rivera theater facilities in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state; Venezuela, in the company of my friend and extremely talented @giancarlos20, although this time I interpret it as a soloist, but using what I have learned so much in the classes given by teachers @danieldedosd2 and @mariajruizb in the same place described above, vocal techniques that They have been a hard work for everyone: Both for the teaching and the learning part.

The instrumental version that you hear in the video is originally played by me, a recording that I made many years ago using an electric guitar that was lent to my brother for his live performances, Fretmaster Stratocaster, a unique guitar model which caught my attention. grooves that it had in the neck, which made it super smooth to play, and one day taking advantage of the fact that I had the adapter and the cable, I recorded this track in one take and recently I would get it in my archives for this recording. The model my brother had was more or less identical to this:

    Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya
    Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya
    Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya
    Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya, Aleluya

    ORIGINAL ENGLISH VERSION

Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you dont really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor falls, the major lifts
    The baffled king composing Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew her
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well, maybe there's a God above
As for me all I've ever learned from love
Is how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
But it's not a crime that you're hear tonight
It's not some pilgrim who claims to have seen the Light
No, it's a cold and it's a very broken Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Instrumental
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well people I've been here before
I know this room and I've walked this floor
You see I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
But listen love, love is not some kind of victory march, no
    It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There was a time you let me know
    What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And I remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove she was moving too
And every single breath we drew was Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Now I've done my best, I know it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didnt come here to London just to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand right here before the Lord of song
With nothing, nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
