DIBUJANDO AL GRAN SAITAMA de la serie One Punch Man

Saludos amigos amantes del dibujo, las ilustraciones y el arte en general, les traigo en esta oportunidad un dibujo de un personaje muy particular de un comic japones, nada mas y nada menos que el GRAN SAITAMA.

Debo decir que no soy muy de ver series de ánime, pero desde el año pasado he visto algunas que han captado mi interés por el diseño de los personajes y me han llamado la atención para dibujarlos.

Greetings friends who love drawing, illustrations and art in general, this time I bring you a drawing of a very particular character from a Japanese comic, nothing more and nothing less than the GREAT SAITAMA.

I must say that I'm not one to watch anime series, but since last year I've seen some that have caught my interest in character design and I've been interested in drawing them.

El boceto

Como siempre hago y es costumbre para mí, lo primero que hago es un boceto con trazos rápidos que me sirvan para definir las proporciones y el tamaño del dibujo, en esta oportunidad quise hacer primero una prueba de dibujo en una hoja reciclada, así que tomé una hoja en mi trabajo y me dispuse a hacer la prueba. Por eso pueden apreciar que la hoja por el lado de atrás está escrita.

Otra cosa que les debo decir de este dibujo es que no tomé muchas fotos ni documenté con videos, apenas tome algunas fotos y unos videos muy cortos , con los cuales logré hacer el contenido que aquí les presento.

The sketch
As I always do and it's customary for me, the first thing I do is a sketch with quick lines that help me to define the proportions and size of the drawing, this time I wanted to do a drawing test first on a recycled sheet, so I took a sheet at my work and I set out to do the test. That is why you can see that the back of the sheet is written.

Another thing that I must tell you about this drawing is that I did not take many photos or document it with videos, I just took a few photos and a few very short videos, with which I managed to make the content that I present here.

El Delineado

Como se supone que era una simple prueba de dibujo utilicé un bolígrafo y un marcador negro punta fina, haciendo simplemente trazos rápidos y aplicando algunas sombras con la técnica de achurado.

Para el delineado lo primero que hice fue trabajar con el contorno y posteriormente comencé a hacer detalles de sombras por el puño de la mano izquierda.

The Outlined

As it was supposed to be a simple drawing test, I used a ballpoint pen and a fine point black marker, just making quick strokes and applying some shadows with the hatching technique.

For the outline, the first thing I did was work with the outline and later I began to make details of shadows through the fist of my left hand.

Se puede apreciar que debajo del delineado va quedando el boceto, el cual voy borrar posteriormente.

It can be seen that the sketch remains under the outline, which I will delete later.

Comenzamos a colorear

El coloreado del personaje fue una mezcla de diferentes materiales, utilicé marcadores con punta de pincel, utilicé pintura acrílica a base de agua, utilicé tinta china y también utilicé colores de madera para dar realce a algunos tonos en el traje del personaje, aunque no lo digo en el video.

The coloring of the character was a mixture of different materials, I used brush-tipped markers, I used acrylic water-based paint, I used India ink and I also used wood colors to enhance some tones in the character's outfit, although I didn't say this in the video.

La única parte del proceso creativo que le hice video fue cuando estaba utilizando el marcador punta de pincel, todo el proceso que vino después no lo grabé, y tampoco le tomé fotos. La verdad es que me concentré tanto en el dibujo que se me pasó tomar fotos y grabar, creo que hubiera sido un video excelente.

The only part of the creative process that I made a video of was when I was using the brush tip marker, the whole process that came after I did not record it, and I did not take photos of it either. The truth is that I concentrated so much on the drawing that I forgot to take photos and record, I think it would have been an excellent video.

Lo que comenzó como una simple prueba de dibujo resultó en un muy buen trabajo que me gustó mucho y ahora forma parte de mi colección personal de dibujos favoritos.

Es todo por los momentos amigos, espero que sea del agrado de todos ustedes este dibujo del GRAN SAITAMA de la serie ONE PUNCH MAN, sin ánimos de hacer spoiler les puedo decir que Saitama tiene una personalidad muy particular, casi como inocente, aún cuando en la serie es el personaje más poderoso que existe.

What started as a simple drawing test resulted in a very good work that I really liked and is now part of my personal collection of favorite drawings.
