    Kalikan by LouieChapm is a very polished Bullet Hell/Shoot-em-Up for PICO-8. The goal is to defeat all enemies while avoid damage as much as possible.

    The game was featured in many "Best PICO-8 games" lists and that's how I found out about it.

    Kalikan is very animated for a PICO-8 game. I like the visual style of the game, and the variety in enemies. The game lets you choose between two machines with different stats. (The third one is unlockable, but I haven't reached far to unlock it.)

    In this video, you'll enjoy watching me die again and again. LOL

    PICO-8 is a Fantasy Console designed to create, share and play small retro-inspired games. Games made for PICO-8 are constrained in aethistics, code and size to encourage creativity. PICO-8 comes with a built-in code editor, graphics, and sound tools. Games are distributed in image files called Cartridges. In this series of videos, I discover great games made on this Fantasy Console, letting you discover these games with me.
