Every week I give my 5 biggest takeaways from the most recent Town Hall.

• Warner Partnership Will Create Artist Token Ecosystems

According to Jillian, the guest from Warner Music who spoke at the town hall, the collaboration is going to bring to life artist token ecosystems. This in my opinion rules out SPS and DEC being heavily used, and maybe it's for the best. Unless the artist was a player of Splinterlands, it would be kind of weird for them to wrap their ecosystem around SL tokens. Though we don't have many details yet, I'm still very bullish on this partnership.

• Land Levels

I had never thought about land having levels before Aggroed gave an example using it. Of course now it seems obvious considering that land will also have rarity, but the idea of not being able to use leveled up monsters on land that is not leveled up had completely missed me. This should be exciting though and hopefully a good way to burn DEC!

• Game Changes Will Affect Bots

Nate said that lands, new rulesets, and the upcoming rewards economy will all change how bots interact with the game. To be clear, the game is bot neutral but many in the community have an issue with them. As long as they are not exploiting any situation though, I'm fine with them. The more complicated the game gets, the more difficult it should be for bots.

• Win Trading Exploit?

There was a lot of controversy during the last end of season and win trading was brought up in the town hall. Now, I can't say whether there has been actual evidence of this happening but if so, I do think it's something the team will need to find a way to address. I find it difficult for bots to be win trading at higher levels though.

• Hardpoint To GDC

I had the opportunity to attend GDC a couple of years ago and the energy there is great! P2E is definitely a hot topic these days and having Hardpoint there to talk up Splinterlands is going to be great for the game and community!
