Even though I've been playing this game for almost 5 months at this point, I had yet to join an Anytime tournament and wasn't sure how the format actually worked.
For those who are new or maybe just initmidated like myself, I wanted to do a bit of a deep dive as I am currently in 2 tournaments right now. The basics are that you are pooled together with a number of other players and given 24 hours to submit your teams for ALL your games. It can feel quite anti-climactic as you don't find out results until the other team has submitted their lineup.
Since this is a global game, the format makes a ton of sense and I appreciate the wide variety of tournaments we have available to us. As the game continues to grow and a larger focus on e-sports is made by the team, I think tournaments will become an even more integral part of the competitive aspect of Splinterlands.
I highly recommend joining, especially the ones that offer a low entry fee. It's an easy way to dip your feet in and join the fun!
