IS DEC NOW WORTH IT? A RISK/REWARD DEEP DIVE

For anyone that has followed my content, you know that I've been very hestitant to hold DEC since reading the white paper a few months back. It was treated as an in-game currency that had no other utility outside of being highly valued as an airdrop point. It was trading as high as 15x it's peg and the risk of loss of capital was a little too high for me.

Well, now that DEC has crashed down to $0.004, about a 70% loss and only 4x the soft peg, I wanted to run the numbers again to see if buying into it would be worthwhile.

Given the numbers we have now with SPS at about $0.18, the example I used in the video is for how much $100 USD of DEC would net you long term even if DEC went back to it's peg. The math works out as such:

Initial Capital: $100
Final Capital $25
SPS Value Airdropped: $95

Total Value: $120

Keep in mind this is very simplified and other factors such as the price of SPS and the overall airdrop points can change dramatically. But overall, it seems like a much better proposition now.

Not sure yet if I'm buying but it is definitely on my radar. How about you?
