This video showcases the Filipino/Ilocano way of cooking using wood on a clay stove. In this video, I will be sharing with you guys a dish that is one of my favorites, "Ginisang Monngo". Ginisang Monggo is one of the most popular dishes in our country and like many Filipino dishes, this is also a very versatile dish. You can add a variety of vegetables to this dish like bitter gourd leaves, bitter gourd, moringa leaves, moringa drumstick, Malabar Spinach, tomato, and green pepper, you can even add fried fish and fried pork if you want, or chicharron. This will be the first time in my life that I am going to cook ginisang monggo with Moringa drumsticks. This also has a touch of an "out of the ordinary" way of cooking, instead of adding the moringa after sauteeing I included it in boiling the mung beans and then removing it so that it will not be overcooked.
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
