My visit to Agbokim Waterfall

Named after the host city, Agbokim Falls consist of seven streams with an impressive freshwater cascade that falls from a high cliff into a beautiful rainforest. That is why it is often referred to as the “miracle of the seven faces”. It is surrounded by steep hills, valleys and lush vegetation. One of the waterfalls in the state of Cross Rivers, Agbokim Falls, is beautifully situated and has been a tourist attraction for years.

According to the La Guardie report, when I asked why the water was colored,
The cream color of the water of Agbokim is the result of the sand, clay, and clay that build up on the bottom of the river trap. A closer look at the falls reveals the dominant creamy color of the sand and the color of the chocolate-brown clay on the bottom, with the 25m high waterfall tumbling over a C-shaped cliff.
The phenomenal rainbow that makes Agbokim waterfall so amazing is short-lived. This only happens on sunny days between lessons. 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The stronger the sun, the more the onion and the richer color (actually there can be a double ring) for the keeper, but unfortunately I did not see that happen during my visit. Rain for many reasons.

At this waterfall I was impressed by the extraordinary beauty and peaceful atmosphere, but I was lost in the euphoria of the wonders of nature. It is certainly an ideal place for a romantic getaway, surrounded by the loving hands of Mother Nature. It is also an ideal place for a picnic with family or friends.
