Hola, amigos de #geekzone, el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo gameplay o más bien un Walkthrough del juego Haunted Laia, el cual la quinta entrega de la saga Hidden Town desarrollada por la compañía Dark Dome. Al igual que sus predecesores, es un juego "point and click" estilo escape room de resolución de puzzles. Lo pueden encontrar de forma gratuita en la Play Store de Google y posee una puntuación de 4.9.

El juego cuenta la historia de una familia que, tras mudarse a una nueva casa, desaparece sin dejar rastro. Tres años después de ese acontecimiento, Laia, una de las personas desaparecidas, despierta sin recordar qué sucedió. En el transcurso del juego vamos ayudándola a recordar lo que sucedió hace tres años y a buscar al resto de su familia que sigue desaparecida. Cuando por fin los encuentra, sus recuerdos terminan de llegar a ella y ahora deberá buscar la forma de romper la maldición que la mantiene a ella y al resto de su familia atrapados.

Este juego comienza como cualquier otro de este género y de esta saga tan particular. Vemos un pedazo de historia y nos damos cuenta de que nuestro personaje, Laia está atrapado en un lugar extraño del cual debe escapar, mientras, nosotros debemos recoger todo lo que sea posible para resolver acertijo tras acertijo, hasta lograr liberarla de aquel encierro.

En Haunted Laia viajamos por las memorias de la joven protagonista mientras ella busca no solamente escapar, sino salvar a su familia de una horrible maldición, es por ello que recorremos varios escenarios en diferentes puntos temporales. Comenzamos en el presente, luego vamos al pasado mediante un recuerdo y regresamos al presente en el cual viviremos el final del juego. Estos "saltos" temporales me gustaron, ya que permitieron que la historia se fuera revelando poco a poco y aunque el final ya lo anticipaba, hubo pequeños detalles que me sorprendió encontrar.

La mecánica de juego es sencilla y fácil de entender, lo único que no me gustó es que hubo varios acertijos que eran demasiado descabellados, esos solo los resolví probando todo mil veces a ver qué funcionaba, ustedes saben, el equivalente a "apretar todos los botones" en este tipo de juegos. Eso es algo en lo que difiere de juegos anteriores, en los cuales los acertijos eran desafiantes, pero completamente lógicos.

Creo que una de las mejores cosas de este juego fue cómo logró conectar detalles de otras entregas, lo que me hace pensar que todo, absolutamente todo en "Hidden Town" está conectado. Es más, me atrevería a decir que todo está relacionada con una bruja que vivió en ese pueblo unos cuantos años atrás. Por otra parte, siento que en esta entrega no innovaron casi nada, sí, integraron los "viajes al pasado", pero en realidad eso no es una mecánica diferente, como habían hecho en los anteriores, los cuales tuvieron algo que los diferenció el uno del otro. Eso fue algo que me decepcionó un poco, ya que yo anticipaba una mecánica nueva de juego y esta nunca llegó.

A pesar de no tener ninguna mecánica nueva, me entretuvo mucho y me ayudó a comprender varias cosas de la saga de "Hidden Town". Ahora solamente me falta probar el último juego para terminar de revelar todos los secretos de ese misterioso pueblo. Trapped with no way out | Full Walkthrough

Hello, #geekzone friends, today I bring you a new gameplay or rather a Walkthrough of the game Haunted Laia, which is the fifth installment of the Hidden Town saga developed by the company Dark Dome. Like its predecessors, it is a "point and click " style escape room puzzle solving game. It can be found for free on Google's Play Store and has a rating of 4.9.

The game tells the story of a family who, after moving to a new house, disappears without a trace. Three years after that event, Laia, one of the missing people, wakes up without remembering what happened. In the course of the game we help her to remember what happened three years ago and to look for the rest of her family who are still missing. When she finally finds them, her memories come back to her and now she must find a way to break the curse that keeps her and the rest of her family trapped.

This game starts like any other of this genre and of this particular saga. We see a piece of history and we realize that our character, Laia is trapped in a strange place from which she must escape, while we must collect everything possible to solve riddle after riddle, until we manage to free her from that confinement.

In Haunted Laia we travel through the memories of the young protagonist as she seeks not only to escape, but to save her family from a horrible curse, which is why we go through several scenarios at different points in time. We start in the present, then we go to the past through a memory and return to the present in which we will live the end of the game. I liked these "time jumps ", since they allowed the story to be revealed little by little, and although the ending was already anticipated, there were small details that I was surprised to find.

The game mechanics are simple and easy to understand, the only thing I didn't like is that there were several puzzles that were too far-fetched, those I only solved by trying everything a thousand times to see what worked, you know, the equivalent of "pressing all the buttons" in this type of game. That's something that differs from previous games, where the puzzles were challenging, but completely logical.

I think one of the best things about this game was how it managed to connect details from other installments, which makes me think that everything, absolutely everything in "Hidden Town " is connected. What's more, I would dare to say that everything is related to a witch who lived in that town a few years ago. On the other hand, I feel that in this installment they didn't innovate almost nothing, yes, they integrated the "trips to the past ", but that's not really a different mechanic, as they had done in the previous ones, which had something that differentiated them from each other. That was something that disappointed me a bit, since I was anticipating a new game mechanic and it never came.

Despite not having any new mechanics, it entertained me a lot and helped me to understand several things of the "Hidden Town" saga. Now I just need to try the last game to finish revealing all the secrets of this mysterious town.
