IN CELEBRATION OF ALL MOTHERS IN HIVE

Happy weekend my blog friends. This is another special weekend and I am pretty sure we will all enjoy it.
Today I will love to share my experience with our preparations for our mothers day celebrating. All glory to God because this is the week we call "mothering week" this will eventually lead to our mothering Sunday.
Mothering Sunday is the Sunday that every mother is celebrated by her loved ones. People from all over the place will come to the church to appreciate God for the life of their mother. But before the mothering Sunday, we started with a retreat for all the mother. In this retreat mother's are encouraged and we are made to understand that God sees every efforts of the mother in every home. Sometimes we as mother we get discouraged because no one seems to appreciate our efforts at home, but in this retreat we receive all types of messages centering on the beauty of motherhood.
In my church we started the retreat yesterday and it will continue today where we will see mothers come out to play football with the fathers. It is usually a play that is meant to celebrate the mothers so men don't usually score the goal. Mothers will be giving opportunity to score the goal and other activities will take place.
For this year celebration as mothers, I learn to trust in God as a mother and not to look at people around for help. I learnt that if God decides to help you, you will be celebrated by everyone including your husband and kids.
I want to use this opportunity to say to all the mother in hive - Happy mothers day in advance.
