El pasado 06 de Agosto del presente año 2022 se celebró en Turagua un evento automovilístico al cual asistimos y traemos para #FullDeportes imágenes y videos del mismo. En este video de #3Speak realizamos una reseña y comentario de lo vivido en esta 2da válida Sprint Series del año celebrada en el Autódromo Internacional Pancho Pepe Cróquer de Turagua.

On August 6th of this year 2022 was held in Turagua an automotive event which we attended and we bring for #FullDeportes images and videos of it. In this #3Speak video we make a review and commentary of what was experienced in this 2nd Sprint Series races held at the Pancho Pepe Cróquer International Race Track in Turagua.

Esta fue mi primera vez en presencia de una carrera de autos a nivel profesional. El ambiente del mundo automotor fue muy agradable en el lugar. Distintos autos de las categorías GT3 y GT4 hicieron presencia en el autódromo, los cuales hicieron del ambiente un lugar único con el rugir de sus motores y el olor de los neumáticos al friccionar y quemarse al contacto con el asfalto.

Las categorías GT3 y GT4 se basan en autos de competición profesional, autos que son especializados para carreras de automovilismo. Existen diferencias entre estas dos. La GT3 es la más especializada o con autos más potentes de estas dos. La GT4 es para autos con menos costes o más "sencillos" por decirlo de alguna manera. Son autos más lentos, y más parecidos a los autos normales de calle que los de la categoría GT3.

This was my first time in the presence of a car race at a professional level. The atmosphere of the motorsport world was very pleasant in the place. Different cars of the GT3 and GT4 categories were present at the racetrack, which made the environment a unique place with the roar of their engines and the smell of the tires rubbing and burning in contact with the asphalt.

En esta válida, la cual es la segunda que se realiza en el año en el Autódromo de Turagua, se realizaron un total de 6 carreras, en las cuales se dividieron 3 categorías: GT3, GT4a y GT4b. Turagua es actualmente el único lugar del país en donde se está realizando este campeonato de autos GT, pero esta actividad que estamos viendo últimamente se espera que incentive movimiento en otros autódromos del país, de manera que vuelva a disputarse un campeonato nacional.

El Autódromo de Turagua, en su versión utilizada actualmente para carreras de automovilismo, posee una longitud de 2,35 Km y 10 curvas, entre las cuales se destacan la Curva de los Zamuros, Felix Varona (punto donde se producen la mayoría de los adelantamientos), Contrabano y la Curva del Portón. Ya en esta publicación-video en 3Speak habíamos realizado un análisis técnico de este autódromo, no solo desde el punto de vista de categorías como la GT sino de la Fórmula 1.

Fue una experiencia muy agradable, pudiendo vivir a primera vista lo que es una largada y una carrera de autos a nivel profesional. Va más allá de lo que se puede ver por televisión, y quizás algún día podremos traer a #FullDeportes una carrera de Fórmula 1 en directo desde la pista.

Esta carrera es un incentivo para la reactivación del deporta a motor a nivel nacional, y es un privilegio vivir cerca de dicho autódromo para poder asistir a los eventos que allí se realizan. Los ganadores de las tres competiciones fueron:

In this 3Speak video for #FullDeportes you can see what was the atmosphere at the Turagua Race Track and part of what were the first 3 races held on August 6th. It was a very pleasant experience, being able to live at first sight what is a start and a car race at a professional level. It goes beyond what you can see on TV, and maybe someday we can bring to #FullDeportes a Formula 1 race live from the track.
