Little tips to save your money

When you are trading on hive-engine, there are some ways how you can save costs or get better prices.

Transactions on hive-engine are free... but

It's great when you trade stuff on hive-engine it's totally free and this is a huge added value. Hovewer, when you want to withdraw your hive or deposit hive, you have to pay a 1% fee. There are two ways to reduce this fee to 0.25%, which is a saving of 75%!

Use Leodex

Instead of using hive-engine you can use leodex to deposit or withdraw your hive. Instead of paying 1%, you pay only 25% on leodex. Unfortunately, leodex doesn't always have the necessary liquidity for deposits or withdrawals and transactions don't always go through. Don't worry your money is credited back within a couple of seconds but it's not always possible to transact.

Use BeeSwap

Another way to deposit or withdraw from hive-engine is to use BeeSwap. Again BeeSwap only takes 0.25% transaction fee. What I like about this service is that you can see how much money is available for the swap.

Using diesel pools instead of hive-engine market

When you want to trade tokens on hive-engine it can often be better to use diesel pools instead of the market. There are a lot of active pools on tribaldex and it's often worth to compare the prices that you would get.

You can at any time just choose the better price. This will allow you to save some cents on all your transactions. The more you transact, the more money you will save :-)
