It was pure, spiteful self-sabotage to prove I was in control.😅 Fast forward to now, dealing with mental burnout looks different. When I got back home, I discovered Olive my pregnant cat in a state of anxiously waiting for me. As I ascended the stairs to my room, Olive took the lead, frequently glancing over her shoulder, conveying a sense of urgency. I had prepared a carton box the previous day, so upon reaching our destination, I guided her to settle inside. Even though it was approaching 11 pm, Olive insisted on not being left alone, as she was amid labor. She refused to eat and we had a sad event yesterday. I don't know how it happened since I was here in the store but she accidentally laid on one of her piglets. My brother Bryan didn't check right away amid the cry for he thinks it just asking for milk. When he got there, the piglet's only visible part was its feet. Bryan kicked Sweeney and she's in trauma at the sight of my brother. I have to adjust my time to attend to her in the morning if my Mom's in the kitchen. Hopefully, I won't be neglecting my growing chicks too; I'm so pressed with time for I need to open the store at 7 am. It's not that I'm so obligated to do this but I chose to do this for my health. I was gaining unhealthy fats due to lack of exercise and so I put animals far away from home, at the top of the hill so I could exercise with so much motivation - not to starve my pets. I decided to grow a garden for personal consumption- to have a healthy diet for vegetables is so costly nowadays, and also, these vegetables are food for my pets too. It's kind of bare and I'm not contented with what I've done for it's been ransacked by cows when whoever forgot to close the gate. Goats joined in when they found a small opening in between bamboo fencing. Don't forget that my chicken digs out seeds too. HAHAHA That's kind of been a hurting laugh. ------------°-----------------°-----------------°------------ I'm doing my best to plant as much as I can, as many leafy vegetables actually for I'm determined to own a couple of native pigs that could live with vegetables alone (and a bit of refined rice bran maybe). Brenda and Sweeney too, can't just eat commercial feeds, they seem to be health conscious too. They lack appetite when there is no sliced banana trunk and taro stalk and leaves in their meals.
