The people of the area may be happy, but a brave and compassionate Haji Ikramullah Khan Pai Khel who was then Minister of Irrigation, planned this canal for the people of this area and today this canal is providing water to thousands of people.

The canal enabled farming in the area and now the people living up to the hills are benefiting from this small canal which is also called Pai Khel Lift Irrigation.

اس نہر کی وجہ سے علاقے میں کاشتکاری شروع ہوئی اور اب پہاڑوں تک رہنے والے لوگ اس چھوٹی نہر سے مستفید ہو رہے ہیں جسے پائی خیل لفٹ اریگیشن بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔
