Whenever I meet a person I got to know through Hive, I just want to buy them a beer.

Well, I got to not only drink a can of vodka induced energy drink, but I also got to have some mad fun with some Hive folks and mehn was it fun???

It all started with I and @khaleesii taking a short trip from where we live at Yenagoa to Port-Harcourt where the event was scheduled. The trip was fun too. We talked all through the entire journey about our expectations and random things that take place on Hive. Having one of your closest friends on Hive is really one of the best things you could do for yourself.

Well, we dropped off our stuff at my friend's place and we were a little behind schedule when we got there but @almostsober happened to be on time. Which was weird because no one is ever on time in this part of the world...

I had promised @samostically that I would let him know before I left home so he and @wildthougts would get on the road but I forgot and texted him when I got there. @peaq being the boss chick that she is, showed up a little after we did and later on the others met us up.

At first, I thought we would have a couple of boring minutes sitting and drinking but these folks were ready to turn the place upside down from the moment they got there. So we went right ahead to the climbing thingy where @almostsober reminded us that he's our granddaddy and completed the entire course.

I really wanted us to go paintballing but right after that, we decided to fulfil all righteousness by having our brief Hive talk from @samistically where he taught us how to kick ass on the blockchain.

Right after that, we had a duet by @peaq and @almostsober which was nothing but amazing. And then we had fun with our VR games, then rounded up with some barbeque before we all went home.

We spent approximately 7 hours together that day and we could have spent even more time. I was extremely tired at the end of the day.

@nonsowrites was pretty jealous when I texted him by 8 pm and told him we were still out. I could sense the jealousy from miles away. It gave me joy.

In our part of the country, we tend to love to party and have a good time. No shade there.

I'm glad I finally got to share this experience. I've had a really busy week and getting this video compiled has been on my to-do list for such a long time.

I look forward to another awesome experience like this. It sucks that @topdollar001 couldn't make it and @ebingo and @bhoa weren't in town. They would have loved the experience.
