Golpe Curarigueño [ESP // ENG ]

La música es la expresión del alma, dijo alguien por ahí si no me equivoco. En mi familia es algo que llevamos en nuestra sangre. Tenemos un tío que fue un reconocido por su habilidad como luthier. Entre los primos podemos mencionar a quizás el más emblemático Jesús "El gordo" Páez, sus hijos, sus nietos, todos con una relación estrecha con la música.

Sin mencionar que la ciudad capital del estado es reconocida por ser la capital musical del país. De esto mucho tiene que ver con el municipio torres y moran, encabezado en primera línea por el Tocuyo, Carora y por supuesto la capital de la parroquia Antonio Díaz, en donde el roble de Curarigua, Don Pío Alvarado hizo la música que nos representa como gentilicio en los cuatro puntos cardinales del país y más allá.

El golpe, un estilo musical creado en nuestras tierras, la misma que vio nacer a mi familia, ha recorrido el mundo en la voz de distintos personajes que la han adoptado para presentarlas en sus países de origen.

Disfruten de buena música, originaria y cargada de la esencia de los campesinos que han entregado su inteligencia, su vitalidad y sencillez desde la época de la invasión europea.

Music is the expression of the soul, someone said somewhere if I'm not mistaken. In my family it is something we carry in our blood. We have an uncle who was recognized for his skill as a luthier. Among the cousins we can mention perhaps the most emblematic Jesús "El gordo" Páez, his children, his grandchildren, all with a close relationship with music.

Not to mention that the capital city of the state is recognized as the musical capital of the country. Much of this has to do with the municipality of Torres y Moran, headed in the first line by El Tocuyo, Carora and of course the capital of the parish Antonio Diaz, where the oak of Curarigua, Don Pio Alvarado made the music that represents us as gentilicio in the four cardinal points of the country and beyond.

El golpe, a musical style created in our lands, the same that saw the birth of my family, has traveled the world in the voice of different characters who have adopted it to present it in their countries of origin.
