Hace dos semanas hice una consulta, a petición de quienes están manejando mi imagen para mi proyecto de salsa, si debía aparecer con barba o sin ella (Aquí lo pueden ver).

La verdad es que yo me visualizo a mí mismo es con la barba, la cual me ha acompañadp desde muy, pero muy joven. Solo en ocasiones puntuales me la he quitado y nunca me sentí cómodo sin ella. Pero atendiendo las sugerencias, me afeité y lo sometimos a consulta.

Debo confesar primero que, por primera vez en mi vida, me sentí bien sin la barba. Yo siempre era el primero que quería que volviera a crecer, pero esta vez no fue así, me sentí cómodo sin ella.

Two weeks ago I made a consultation, at the request of those who are managing my image for my salsa project, if I should appear with or without a beard (Here you can see it).

The truth is that I visualize myself with my beard, which has been with me since I was very, very young. I have only occasionally taken it off and never felt comfortable without it. But heeding suggestions, I shaved it off and submitted it for consultation.

I must first confess that, for the first time in my life, I felt good without my beard. I was always the first one to want it to grow back, but this time it didn't, I felt comfortable without it.

La respuesta, que fue realizada en varias plataformas, arrojó un resultado que no me hubiera sorprendido entre la gente que está acostumbrada a verme, pero lo magnífico fue que inclusive la gente que apensa está conociéndome también fue de la misma opinión.

En definitiva, el resultado final fue

78% a favor de la barba
22% por la cara afeitada

Así que una vez concluída esta decisión, se le dieron las instrucciones al diseñador Juan Giráldez para que terminara el diseño del logo, con esta característica.

Después de la revisión de los distintos bocetos, se le dio la luz verde a este diseño que definitivamente acompañará mi trabajo.

The response, which was carried out on various platforms, yielded a result that would not have surprised me among people who are used to seeing me, but the great thing was that even people who are just getting to know me were also of the same opinion.

In short, the final result was

78% in favor of the beard
22% for the clean-shaven face

So once this decision was concluded, the instructions were given to the designer Juan Giráldez to finish the logo design, with this feature.

After reviewing the different sketches, the green light was given to this design that will definitely accompany my work.

Ya tengo listo el nuevo sencillo, sin embargo, por cuestiones de logística saldrá a la luz aproximadamente dentro de un mes. Pero les adelanto que se trata de una composición original mía y que van a salir dos versiones, una español y una en ruso.

La versión en español se llama "Pa' los bailadores" y en ruso "Для наших танцоров".

Pero para que no te quedes sin música, traje este video de hace dos años (cuando no había empezado el coronavirus y estábamos preparanda el lanzamiento del proyecto). Las grabación es en directo, por lo que el sonido no es muy bueno, pero tiene el sabor de "en vivo". Se trata de Barlovento, un merengue venezolano de Eduardo Serrano, pero en su versisón en salsa.

I already have the new single ready, however, for logistical reasons it will be released in about a month. But I can tell you that it is an original composition of mine and that there will be two versions, one in Spanish and one in Russian.

The Spanish version is called "Pa' los bailadores" ("For the dancers") and in Russian "Для наших танцоров" ("For our dancers").

The recording is live, so the sound is not very good, but it has the taste of "live". It is Barlovento, a Venezuelan merengue by Eduardo Serrano, but in its salsa version.
