Greetings to the entire Music community, I want to share my interpretation with the trumpet of What a Wonderful World, a classic of North American Jazz written by Bob Thiele and George David Weiss, who produced the album. It was released by Louis Armstrong and presented as a single on September 1, 1967, by ABC Records and His Master´s Voice (HMV). It is a mix between Jazz, Pop, and Ballad. It has been performed by great artists such as Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, B.B. King, Sarah Brightman, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, and Il. Divo, and others.
The lyrics have an optimistic message, where we can value the simple things in life. The trees, the flowers, the sky, the clouds, the day and night, the colors of the rainbow, the faces of the people, shaking the hands of friends, asking them how they are doing, and telling them that we love them, in the end, He talks about listening to babies crying, watching them grow and learn. Many times it is difficult for us to recognize the beautiful things in life, we focus on the difficulties and not on enjoying the journey. The great lesson of this wonderful song is to be amazed at our passage through life, at the details, and at focusing on the good things. I take from this song the desire to marvel at simple things.
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom, for me and for you
And I think to myself: What a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed days, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself: What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, saying: How do you do?
They're really saying: I love you!
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more, than I'll never know
And I think to myself: What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself: What a wonderful world
