Welcome to my music blog. Today I share with you my trumpet interpretation of “Save the Best for Last” by Vanessa Williams. This classic pop ballad was composed by Phil Collins and Diane Warren and is characterized by its dizzying melody and romantic lyrics. The song is in the key of E♭ major and is in 4/4 time. The harmony of the song is rich and sophisticated. The use of chromaticism, or notes that are not in the key of the song, increases the emotional impact of the song. A climax of tension and release can be felt, which is particularly evident in the chorus. The song's lyrics are about the joy of finding true love. The melody of the song is very memorable and singable. The verse melody is simple and understated, while the chorus melody is more dramatic and fast-paced.
Bienvenidos a mi Blog musical.
If there's one thing I've learned as a musician, it's the importance of trying something, over and over again. I learned a while ago that no effort is wasted. One day you may wake up and the melody you expect won't come out, it may take days, weeks, months and years. However, the miracle can happen at any time. When you face failure, it is important to be able to learn from it and move forward. Trying something, over and over again, helps you develop the ability to overcome challenges and move forward. If you are not successful, you will be learning what is not working and what you can do differently to be more successful in the future. Even if you don't succeed the first time, each attempt brings you one step closer to your goal. The more you try, the more likely you are to ultimately succeed. So don't stop trying.
Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon
I see the passion in your eyes
Sometimes it's all a big surprise
Cause there was a time when all I did was wish
You'd tell me this was love
It's not the way I hoped or how I planned
But somehow it's enough
And now we're standing face to face
Isn't this world a crazy place?
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
All of the nights you came to me
When some silly girl had set you free
You wondered how you'd make it through
I wondered what was wrong with you
Cause how could you give your love to someone else
And share your dreams with me
Sometimes the very thing you're looking for
Is the one thing you can't see
But now we're standing face to face
Isn't this world a crazy place?
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
Sometimes the very thing
You're looking for
Is the one thing you can't see
Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
You went and saved the best for last
