A cordial and affectionate greeting to the entire #Music community. Today I share with you my interpretation of “Hit the Road Jack” on the trumpet, a song that mixes genres such as blues, R&B, and Soul composed by Percy Mayfield. My favorite version is by Ray Charles and The Raelettes. His call-and-response style is extremely charming. Ray Charles begs his partner to stay, while The Raelettes, representing the woman, firmly tell her to leave. A few years ago I enjoyed the biographical film Ray (2004) starring Jamie Foxx and since that time his music has been part of my playlist. This piece of music is in the key of G# minor which creates a melancholic atmosphere that reflects the emotional tension of the lyrics. The chord progression is based on the I, IV, and V chords of the key. I love its steady, energetic rhythm, as well as the prominent role of the piano. The lyrics are a powerful and moving exploration of the emotions surrounding a breakup.

Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta «Hit the Road Jack», una canción que mezcla géneros como el blues, el R&B y el Soul compuesta por Percy Mayfield. Mi versión favorita es la de Ray Charles y The Raelettes. Su estilo de llamada y respuesta es sumamente encantador. Ray Charles le suplica a su pareja que se quede, mientras Las Raelettes, representan a la mujer, diciéndole firmemente que se vaya. Hace unos años disfruté de la película biográfica Ray (2004) que protagoniza Jamie Foxx y desde ese tiempo su música es parte de mi playlist personal. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en la tonalidad de G# menor que crea una atmósfera melancólica que refleja la tensión emocional de la letra. La progresión de acordes se basa en los acordes I, IV y V de la tonalidad. Me encanta su ritmo constante y enérgico, así como también el papel destacado del piano. La letra es una poderosa y conmovedora exploración de las emociones que rodean una ruptura.

I like stories about medieval courts. In them, there was a code of conduct that regulated the behavior of the nobility and those who worked in the palace that was based on principles of respect, deference, kindness, and consideration. I believe that this world needs these principles, it is not something outdated or out of fashion. I have received acts of courtesy, friends, and family taking the time to write and call me. I feel very grateful for these details. Within the Hive Blockchain, reciprocity is important, returning a greeting, and thanking a kind gesture. Now this is not something forced, but something that comes from a sincere heart. An act of courtesy begins with oneself, selflessly giving, and receipt. As I always say, this is a law of life, I reap what I sow.

Me gustan las historias de las cortes medievales. En ellas existía un código de conducta que regulaba el comportamiento de la nobleza y los que trabajaban en el palacio que se basaba en principios de respeto, deferencia, amabilidad y consideración. Yo considero que este mundo necesita de esos principios, no es algo anticuado ni pasado de moda. Personalmente, he recibido actos de cortesía, amigos y familiares que se toman un tiempo para escribirme y llamarme. Me siento muy agradecido por estos detalles. Dentro de la Blockchain de Hive es importante la reciprocidad, devolver un saludo, y agradecer un gesto amable. Ahora esto no es algo forzado, sino algo que viene de un corazón sincero. Un acto de cortesía comienza con uno mismo, dando, desinteresadamente, recibo. Como siempre digo, esto es una ley de la vida, recojo lo que siembro.
