Cada día tengo como objetivo compartir mis talentos, escribir mis impresiones y reflexiones sobre la música. La música es un universo infinito de estrellas, son incontables las canciones que existen, hay una diversidad de géneros, matices, formas y manifestaciones. Estuve practicando varias canciones, con el objetivo de grabar una y compartirla, sin embargo, todavía requieren práctica y preparación. En esa búsqueda recordé una hermosa balada romántica que se titula «Cuando Te Beso», de Juan Luis Guerra. Siempre acostumbro a tocar con la trompeta con una pista y su partitura, el tocar viendo el pentagrama y las figuras de notas me brinda seguridad y precisión para interpretar. Como no conseguí la partitura de esta pieza, tuve que hacerlo mentalmente, con la ayuda de la memoria auditiva. Para ser más exacto, repase la canción escuchando al artista original e incluso acompañándole. Esta canción es muy bonita, y nos habla de la conexión que se puede sentir a través de un beso de la persona amada.

Every day I aim to share my talents, write my impressions and reflections on music. Music is an infinite universe of stars, the songs that exist are countless, there is a diversity of genres, nuances, shapes and manifestations. I was practicing several songs, with the aim of recording one and sharing it, however, they still require practice and preparation. In that search I remembered a beautiful romantic ballad entitled "When I kiss you", by Juan Luis Guerra. I always usually play with the trumpet with a track and its score, touching seeing the pentagram and notes gives me security and precision to interpret. As I did not get the score of this piece, I had to do it mentally, with the help of auditory memory. To be more accurate, review the song listening to the original artist and even accompanying him. This song is very pretty, and tells us about the connection that can be felt through a kiss from the loved one.

Una de las actividades que me encantaba hacer tanto en la escuela de música, en el conservatorio y la universidad era el dictado rítmico y melódico. En el caso del Dictado Rítmico, los maestros hacían pequeños patrones rítmicos con las palmas, con una mesa o con un instrumento musical, el más usado era el piano. Entonces uno inmediatamente tomaba nota y escribía las figuras de nota correspondiente en el pentagrama. A lo largo de mi experiencia musical, he notado que hay personas que son más sensibles a llevar el pulso, repetir frases rítmicas e identificarlas. Tengo varios amigos que tocan instrumentos de percusión y a ellos se les hacía más fácil. Igualmente, pasa con la melodía, el maestro tocaba unas notas con el piano, o con la flauta, y uno tenía que decir cuál era el nombre, y en un grado más avanzado escribirla en el pentagrama. Me encantaba practicar este ejercicio, incluso identificar el patrón rítmico y las notas a la vez. Para lograr esto era necesario escuchar, estudiar intervalos, y practicar solfeo rítmico y melódico. El entrenamiento auditivo es clave para lograrlo, esto favorece la entonación, la afinación y la precisión en cualquier interpretación. Ahora, alguno de ustedes dirá, yo nunca he estudiado lenguaje y teoría musical. Escuchar música con calidad sonora y armónica te ayuda a entrenar tu oído. Selecciona música que te guste, y dedícate a escuchar. Más importante que cantar, y hablar es saber escuchar.

I loved to practice this exercise, even identify the rhythmic pattern and notes at the same time. To achieve this it was necessary to listen, study intervals, and practice rhythmic and melodic solfeo. Auditory training is key to achieving it, this favors intonation, tuning and precision in any interpretation. Now, one of you will say, I have never studied language and musical theory. Listening to music with sound and harmonic quality helps you train your ear. Select music that you like, and dedicate yourself to listening. More important than singing, and talking is knowing how to listen.
