Part of my childhood was characterized by watching my mom listen to all kinds of music, among them Mexican songs, Norteño style to be exact. I remember there was a CD that played every day and one of the pieces that caught my attention was the one sung by a boy, it is worth mentioning that I learned it and to this day I have never forgotten its lyrics.
The mentioned musical piece is called "El bilingüe" and was popularized by the Mexican band "Los Tigres del norte", but the version that I learned as a child was the one performed by Danny Moreno, which I have brought to you today. This song has the particularity that it contains lyrics in both Spanish and English, therefore, I made an effort to sing as best as possible, the language I don't speak.
The chords I used on this occasion were: A (A major), E (E major) A7 (the seventh) and D (D major). I am very happy because these chords are very well handled compared to my first recordings.
I take this opportunity to share with you my desire to acquire a new guitar soon because the one I am currently using was lent to me by a brother of the church. Obviously, I am very grateful, because thanks to this noble gesture I have managed to advance with the instrument, but you know that it is much better to have our own things, God help me.
I say goodbye leaving you this video that was recorded exclusively for the Music community, thank you very much in advance for the opportunity. God bless you.
I wish to tell you in this song how much I love you
I hope my love can make you come back pretty soon
Never forget to return here, I'll be waiting
Alone and praying
Come back, release me, give me freedom, give me love
I wish to tell you in this song how much I love you
I hope my love can make you come back pretty soon
Never forget to return here, I'll be waiting
Alone and praying
Come back, release me, give me freedom, give me love
Estaré preso, regresa pronto, dame amor y libertad
I started to study English, to write to my girlfriend
That I met her a month ago, when she came to the Noria
I met her parents, they were my father's friends
One day they left here for the United States
They've been here for a month, they came here on vacation
And when I met her, two hearts beat
She can't speak Spanish, when I talk to her she doesn't understand me
But the kisses that I give her, she understands them well
I wish to tell you in this song how much I love you
I hope my love can make you come back pretty soon
Never forget to return here, I'll be waiting
Alone and praying
Come back, release me, give me freedom, give me love
When she comes back again, she'll hear my songs
If I'll sing them in English, I'll learn the lessons
And if she stays, I'll buy her a little house
And there I'll teach her Spanish to my pochita
I wish to tell you in this song how much I love you
I hope my love can make you come back pretty soon
Never forget to return here, I'll be waiting
Alone and praying
Come back, release me, give me freedom, give me love
I want to tell you in my song that I love you so much
I hope soon my love will bring you back
Never forget that waiting for your return
I'll be a prisoner, come back soon, give me love and freedom
