Hello everyone! Today I am going to share a video tutorial of a yellow sunset watercolour painting. I did this quite long ago but today I finally managed to finish editing the video. The process took a while because I was procrastinating because the recording of the entire painting was very long and it took up almost 30Gb of memory. I included little clips of around 25 videos. Furthermore, I also did a voiceover recording and added a light music in the background.
The following are the tools and materials I used:
I used a lifting technique using a coin in order to create the golden evening sun shining brightly, along with a tissue paper. After painting the sun and sky, I painted the sea with some waves. I built the colours up gradually by layers. It took a lot of patience because each layer took time to dry.
Then, I painted some braches and leaves in black. After they dried, I used red and blue colours to create some highlights and shadows on the leaves. I thought that will make the painting more interesting. By the way, I did make tiny mistakes like painting out of line and I corrected the boo boos at the end.
I hope that you enjoy watching my tutorial. Thank you for dropping by and please leave a feedback if you have any including the negative ones as they help me to create better content next time. Have a great day ahead!
