Hive Open Mic 109 | Lost Boy | Cover

Hello Hive Open Mic, it's so much fun to be here again. This week, for the theme 'Paper Kites', all I can think of is my childhood and how much I loved running around with paper kites in the streets. I always imagined being able to fly high like the kites and float to wherever.

I lived in so many fantasies as a kid and the song Lost Boy by Ruth B. brings to life one of my fantasies. I love this song because it reminds me of my childhood and I love the Peter Pan storyline. The song talks about a dreamland, loyalty, and friendships.

It was a bit too fast-paced for me to sing so I had to use the backing instrumental but I ended up overpowering the sound because of my mic. I was undecided whether to post this one or the one without a sound but I settled for this. I hope it's nice still.

Hola Hive Open Mic, es muy divertido estar aquí de nuevo. Esta semana, para el tema 'Paper Kites', todo lo que puedo pensar es en mi infancia y cuánto me gustaba correr con cometas de papel en las calles. Siempre imaginé poder volar alto como las cometas y flotar hacia donde sea.

Viví en tantas fantasías cuando era niño y la canción Lost Boy de Ruth B. hace realidad una de mis fantasías. Me encanta esta canción porque me recuerda a mi infancia y me encanta la historia de Peter Pan. La canción habla de un país de ensueño, lealtad y amistades.

Era un ritmo demasiado rápido para cantar, así que tuve que usar el instrumental de acompañamiento, pero terminé dominando el sonido debido a mi micrófono. Estaba indeciso si publicar este o el que no tiene sonido, pero me conformé con este. Espero que sea agradable todavía.
