Review and Gameplay Spider Man 64 [ENG/ESP]

A few days ago my wife @carminasalazarte showed me an app called Video Game for Android, that works as an emulator of a large number of retro games from various video game devices, but among those that most caught my attention and excitement, were the Nintendo 64 games, and made me remember when I was a kid and I had my Nintendo 64, with a lot of video game cartridges.

Among all the games I had, was the Spiderman game for Nintendo 64, and of course I found it in this emulator. Game that I love a lot, and I spent a lot of time passing its missions, I even got to pass the whole story, which is comprised of 6 sections, with missions where we will meet almost all the enemies of Spiderman, and even with other superheroes of the Marvel universe.

Hace unos días mi esposa @carminasalazarte me mostró una app llamada Video Game para Android, que hace su función como emulador de una gran cantidad de juegos retros de varios dispositivos de videojuegos, pero entre los que más me llamó la atención y emoción, fueron los juegos de Nintendo 64, y me hizo recordar cuando era un niño y tenía mi Nintendo 64, con una gran cantidad de cartuchos de videojuegos.

Entre todos los juegos que tenia, estaba el juego de Spiderman para Nintendo 64, y por supuesto lo encontré en este emulador. Juego que me encanta mucho, y pasaba mucho tiempo pasando sus misiones, que incluso llegué a pasar toda su historia, que esta comprendida en 6 secciones, con misiones donde nos encontraremos con casi todos los enemigos de Spiderman, e incluso con otros superheroes del universo Marvel.

In retrospect, this game was released in 2000, developed by Neversoft and distributed by Activision, well known companies in the world of video games. In addition, this game was also available on Playstation, Dreamcast, Game Boy and PC, although for me it was always better the Nintendo 64 version, because it differed when the development of the game, some segments were narrated in the style of comic book comics, certainly gave a special touch, being a unique label of Spiderman Nintendo 64.

Now, this game depending on the player can be spent completely between 2 to 3 hours, as I show in the first chapter of this game, which lasted approximately 16 minutes, although I had some difficulties for which I had to redo some scenes, because I did not remember at all when I played it as a child, but basically this chapter is about a Spiderman who has an encounter with Black Cats, who mentions about a bank robbery, so Spiderman must go to the bank, thwart the robbery, free the hostages and prevent the explosion of a bomb.

En retrospectiva, este juego fue lanzado en el año 2000, desarrollado por Neversoft y distribuido por Activision, empresas muy reconocidas en el mundo de los videojuegos. Además, de que este juego también estaba disponible en Playstation, Dreamcast, Gane Boy y para PC, aunque para mí siempre fue mejor la versión en Nintendo 64, debido que se diferenciaba cuando el desarrollo del juego, se narraba algunos segmentos al estilo de historieta cómics, sin duda le daba un toque especial, siendo una etiqueta única del Spiderman Nintendo 64.

Ahora, este juego dependiendo del jugador se puede pasar completamente entre 2 a 3 horas, como muestro en el primer capítulo de este juego, que dure aproximadamente 16 minutos, aunque tuve algunas dificultades por la cual tuve que volver hacer algunas escenas, debido que no recordaba para nada cuando lo jugaba de niño, pero básicamente este capítulo, se trata de un Spiderman que tiene un encuentro con Black Cats, quien le menciona sobre un robo de un banco, por lo tanto Spiderman se debe dirigir hacia el banco, frustrar el robo, liberar los rehenes y evitar la explosión de una bomba.

I must say that it was hard to remember those moments, but once the story progressed, I remembered what moves I had to make, while on the other hand, playing it on the cell phone is a little uncomfortable, of course it is not the same when I played it with the Nintendo 64 controls, although perhaps buying a control to play with my cell phone, the gameplay of the game is more comfortable.

Undoubtedly, this game as well as others of Nintendo 64, were the best titles for that time, and still is for me at this time, I will continue playing through the emulator. Maybe later on I will continue with gameplays where I play the complete Spiderman game, of course fractions so it won't be tedious to watch them all. In the same way as I did with this video gamaplay, where I played the first chapter, with a duration of a little more than 16 minutes, although the other chapters may last longer, depending on the complexity in the development of each chapter or scene.

Debo decir que costó recordar esos momentos, pero una vez que avanzaba la historia, iba recordando qué jugadas debía realizar, mientras que por otro lado, jugarlo por el celular se me hace un poco incómodo, por supuesto no es lo mismo cuando lo jugaba con los controles del Nintendo 64, aunque quizás comprando un control para jugar con mi celular, sea más cómodo la jugabilidad del juego.

Sin duda, este juego así como otros más de Nintendo 64, eran los mejores títulos para esa época, y que aún lo sigue siendo para mí en estos momentos, que voy a seguir jugando por medio del emulador. Quizás más adelante siga momento gameplays donde pase el juego completo de Spiderman, por supuesto fracciones para que no sea tedioso verlos todos. De igual manera como lo realicé con este video gamaplay, donde pasé el primer capítulo, con una duración de un poco más de 16 minutos, aunque los demás capítulos puedan durar más, dependiendo de la complejidad en el desarrollo de cada capítulo o escena.
