Greetings dear music friends. Some of us here have had an intense relationship with music for a long time. Some of us have been trying to improve ourselves for a short time. Does the length of time spent with music matter? I don't think it matters much after a point. Instead, I find it more valuable how much of the time we spend with music is spent doing something that comes from our heart, and how much this time has matured us.

The piece I shared in the video is a song called the fire inside me. Ever since I first started playing baglama, I have been playing and singing it with love. I used to sing this song with love 15 years ago, and now I have similar feelings. The time that has passed has only matured my approach to the song and my instrument, I can realize this. The songs that I have been playing and sang for such a long time are not too many. I forget some of them after a while and I meet new songs. I can remember some of them years later and add a new comment. Despite all this, it is very important to maintain a song that you have been playing and sang for a long time. I'm trying to do this the best I can.

Now let's come to the technical parts of this article. First of all, my baglama performance during the song is a bit closer to playing the guitar. This is because the song's lyricist and composer Nurettin Rençber uses such a playing style. The song goes from the beginning to the end with chord playing and ends like this. This is quite different from the usual baglama playing.

Let me talk a little about the content of the song. The fire song inside me is one of the classic love songs in Turkey. The most common word in it is crane bird, that is, flamingo. :) I don't want to go any further as I know that this bird carries deep symbols in many cultures. Selamlar değerli müzik dostları. Burada kimimizin müzikle uzun zamandır yoğun bir ilişkisi var. Kimimiz de kısa bir süredir kendimizi geliştirmeye çalışıyoruz. Müzikle geçirilen zamanın uzunluğu çok mu önemli? Ben bunun bir noktadan sonra çok önemi olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Bunun yerine müzikle geçirdiğimiz zamanın ne kadarı içimizden gelen bir şeyleri yapmakla geçiyor ve bu zaman bizi ne kadar olgunlaştırdı, bunu daha kıymetli buluyorum.

Videoda paylaştığım eser, içimdeki ateş isimli bir şarkı. Bağlama çalmaya ilk başladığım zamnalardan beri severek çalıp söylüyorum. Bundan 15 yıl önce de aşkla bu şarkıyı söylerdim, şimdi de benzer hisleri taşıyorum. Aradan geçen zaman sadece şarkıya ve enstrümanıma yaklaşımımı olgunlaştırmış, bunu fark edebiliyorum. Böyle çok uzun zamandır kesintisiz çalıp söylediğim şarkılar çok çok fazla değil. Bazılarını bir süre sonra unutuyorum ve yeni şarkılarla tanışıyorum. Bir kısmını da yıllar sonra tekrar hatırlayıp yeni bir yorum katabiliyorum. Tüm bunlara rağmen uzun zamandır çalıp söylediğiniz bir şarkıyı sürdürmek çok önemli. Bunu elimden geldiğince yapmaya çalışıyorum.

Şimdi gelelim bu yazının teknik kısımlarına. Öncelikle şarkı sırasında yaptığım bağlama performansım biraz gitar çalımına daha yakın. Bunun sebebi de şarkının söz yazarı ve bestecisi Nurettin Rençber'in bu şekilde bir çalma tarzı kullanması. Şarkı başından sonuna kadar akor çalımlarıyla gidiyor ve böyle sonlanıyor. Bu da alışılagelmiş bağlama çalımının oldukça dışında.

Şarkı içeriğine de çok az değineyim. İçimdeki ateş şarkısı Türkiye'de klasikleşmiş aşk şarkılarından birisi. İçinde en çok geçen kelime de turna kuşu, yani flamingo. :) Bu kuşun birçok kültürde derin semboller taşıdığını bildiğim için daha fazla uzatmak istemiyorum.
