Being born, growing up, getting an education, finding a job, getting married, having a child and seeing your child go through similar processes are only a small part of our purpose in life. They may even stand in the way of us seeing our real purpose in life from time to time.

Realization of one's own purpose in life is only possible with enlightenment. Asking critical questions such as who am I, why am I here and what am I trying to do and trying to find answers to these starts to bring people to the essence of life.

In fact, man's quest is nothing but immortality, but everyone's method is different. In the mystical eastern philosophies, man's search and finding immortality is only possible with the discovery of the divine being. This divine being or divine essence is also hidden in man's own heart, and those who find the god in their own heart begin to become immortal. This process is a mystical maturation process, also called perfection. The matured man begins to turn into a fruitful tree and nourishes humanity.

In the piece you will listen to in the video, this type of mystical enlightenment process is explained and the search for human is emphasized. There is a lot of advice on what behaviors one should do in order to mature. The words of the poem belong to a folk poet named Turabi who lived about 300 years ago. His composition is anonymous. It was quite difficult to translate into English as the poem is in an old language, but I tried to do it as much as possible. At least, I think it is important for people to understand a little of the messages in the work.

Herkesin hayata gelmesinin bir amacı vardır. Doğmak, büyümek, eğitim almak, iş bulmak, evlenmek, çocuk sahibi olmak ve çocuğunuzun benzer süreçlerden geçtiğini görmek yaşama gayemizin yalnızca çok küçük bir kısmını oluşturur. Bu süreç adına kemalet de denilen mistik bir olgunlaşma sürecidir. Olgunlaşan insan meyve veren verimli bir ağaca dönmeye başlar ve insanlığı besler.

Videoda dinleyeceğiniz eserde de bu tip bir mistik aydınlanma süreci anlatılıyor ve insanın arayışına vurgu yapılıyor. İnsanın olgunlaşabilmesi için hangi davranışlarda bulunması gerektiğine dair birçok öğütte bulunuluyor. Şiirin sözleri yaklaşık 300 yıl öncesinde yaşayan Turabi isimli bir halk ozanına ait. Bestesi ise anonim. Şiir eski bir dile sahip olduğu için İngilizceye çevirmek oldukça zordu fakat mümkün olduğu kadar bunu yapmaya çalıştım. Hiç değilse eserin içindeki mesajların bir miktar anlaşılması bile insan için önemlidir diye düşünüyorum.
