Hello friends, I want to tell you about my walk with my parents to the Besarbovo Monastery.The Besarbovo Monastery is located along the Rusenski Lom River near the town of Ruse. The monastery was built in the 12th-13th century and is the only active rock monastery in Bulgaria. The place where it was built is uniquely beautiful. At the foot of the cliffs are rooms and a dining room. A steep staircase leads to a rock platform where the church itself is located, where there is a painted wooden altar and many icons. The atmosphere of the whole area is amazing, full of history and very beautiful. I recommend visiting in spring and summer when everything is strewn with greenery and flowers.
