I literally never tried to play a game while streaming live. Mainly because I didnt think the machine could handle it.
But I now have a new set up with the old computers. I drug out an old, old desktop that I didnt think would even start.
But it fired up, ever so slowly. So I quickly wiped the hard drive and installed Ubuntu server with an nginx rtmp server.
So now I can stream using OBS Studio to it. With network speed I should be able to handle streaming to two chanells at once.
I am now set up to stream to Twitch and VimmTV or MSPWaves & Twitch/YouTube, etc. So for my games and DecentraCast I will be streaming to Twitch & VimmTV. For Loud & Proud I will be streaming to MSPWaves and the Loud & Proud YouTube chanell.
It really was just a trial run to see if I could do it. It did have some dropped frames at the beginning as I was trying to do too much. But once I turned some stuff down it seemed to straighten out a bit. The game play didnt exactly capture right becaude I had ticked the swap red & blue box when I shouldnt have. So the colors look all wonky.
But the game play capture when very nice. Nice enough to let me not give up hope. So this might just be a thing.

These two lists are what I need to build a streaming pc. The main parts are available on Amazon while there are 3 items that are cheaper at Newegg. The total build is currently coming in at ;$912 as of 10/01/21.
I can make do for now with what I have. But it isnt easy and very unreliable equipment. This build would be the first "new" computer I've ever had.
I dont expect anybody to help me with this but if you can it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you if you can.
