Week 138 of Hive Open Mic: Magic.
For me, music is magic, just the fact of traveling to special moments in your life by listening to a melody is a great blessing, I have lived it intensely and I even define myself as a collector, everything has been worth it.
It is also magical to witness how a string of words in rhyme with music in company can reach all parts of the world and break the barriers of language and time, that's why I chose this song from 1967, an African language called xhosa, a looped phrase, catchy, to dance, one of my first disappointments, because I swore it was original by Wanda and Jalymar, and it was very sad to discover that it was not true.
Venezuelans will understand, for me this song is like going back to my childhood and watching the Tigritos Club every afternoon, even before doing my homework for school.
I sing "Pata Pata" with a lot of love and a lot of magic for everyone.
