The way of the gospel is the best way to live your life. Phil. 1:27 advises us to live a life that is worthy of the Gospel of Christ. In other words, our manner of life should be based on the faith of the Gospel.

We should note that the gospel comprises of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's not about the Ten Commandments or the law of Moses.

The efficacy of the law of Moses stopped as from the time of John the Baptist. This is according to Lk. 16:16. We can see that Mk. 1:14 says Jesus started preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God after John was put in prison.

We can relate this to Lk. 16:16 which says the good news of the kingdom of God was preached starting from the time of John.
