HIVE LEARNERS CREATIVE-SUNDAY, THE LIGHT BY MINISTER WALLAY (COVER)

Warm greetings Hive family! I’m delighted to join you all once more for another uplifting Hive Learners Creative Sunday session. As you may have read in my blog post this morning, my church hosted an incredible 3-hour praise marathon today. Truly a sanctuary filled with the sweetest Holy Spirit presence alongside our amazingly gifted music ministry teams and members glorifying God through song.

After nearly nonstop singing and dancing in overflowing joy during worship, I did unfortunately end up with a pesky sore throat by end of service. All that belting my favorite African gospel hymns clearly took its toll.

But a minor throat irritation was no match for my eagerness to fulfill today’s Hive Learners music celebration commitment. Wild horses couldn’t keep me away! Being amongst my cherished creator community nourishing each other’s talents remains a highlight I show up faithfully for.
Which is why I’m thrilled to share a soul-stirring original composition with you all today titled “The light" written and performed by Minister Wallay. Beyond being a dedicated musical servant of God, Wallay also happens to be my wonderful husband,
I just adore how the song “The light” melodiously expresses the gracious presence of God in our life, "we are the light of the world" And the smooth instrumental production layered behind Wallay’s rich vocals? Straight heavenly if you ask me! Though my raggedly straining voice cannot hit the sweet high notes right now without coughing, I will gladly provide front-row reaction commentary as we listen together, ha!
