Hola amigos de HIVE, he decidido publicar el séptimo video de mi serie SONATA AJEDRECISTICA analizando partidas de ajedrez de grandes maestros con música clásica de fondo acorde a la época, en la comunidad @Aliento.

Hace días me tropecé con algunos artículos en la red que hablaban sobre esta comunidad y su relación con Threespeak entre otras muchas cosas y la verdad me cayó muy bien y me gustó mucho el trabajo que hacen; los felicito de verdad!

Hoy les quiero mostrar una partida fascinante jugada por nada más y nada menos que el Gran Maestro ruso Garri Kasparov.
Para los que no lo conocen Kasparov
fué el decimotercer campeón mundial de ajedrez, alumno de Mijaíl Botvínnik. Retuvo el título desde 1985 hasta 1993.

La partida que a continuación les traigo fue la décima del match por el campeonato mundial de la Professional Chess Association
organización paralela a la Federación Internacional De Ajedrez comandada por el propio Kasparov.

Kaspárov de 31 años se enfrentaba a un Gran Maestro de la India de 26 años de edad llamado Viswanathan Anand que años más tarde se convertirá en el decimoquinto campeón mundial (2007).

El torneo de celebró en New York USA en 1995 y está décima partida el 26 de septiembre del mismo año. Kasparov contaba con 2795 puntos de ELO mientras que su contrincante Anand tenía 2725 puntos. En esta instancia el match se encontraba 5 - 4 a favor de Anand.

Today I want to show you a fascinating game played by none other than the Russian Grandmaster Garri Kasparov.
For those who don't know him, Kasparov was the thirteenth world chess champion, a student of Mikhail Botvínnik. He held the title from 1985 to 1993.

The game that I bring you below was the tenth of the match for the world championship of the Professional Chess Association, a parallel organization to the International Chess Federation commanded by Kasparov himself.

The 31-year-old Kasparov faced a 26-year-old Indian Grandmaster named Viswanathan Anand who years later would become the fifteenth world champion (2007).

The tournament was held in New York USA in 1995 and is the tenth game on September 26 of the same year. Kasparov had 2795 ELO points while his opponent Anand had 2725 points. In this instance the match was 5 - 4 in favor of Anand.

Kasparov plantea gambito Karpov de la apertura española ! Sacrificando el caballo del flanco de rey. Sin duda está posición es compleja con múltiples líneas ocultas pero el módulo de Stockfish sugiere capturar el caballo y posteriormente devolver la pieza después que el blanco jugase Qf3, resultando en un posición equilibrada.

Si el negro intenta conservar la pieza de ventaja mediante 12... Bd7, esto sería contraproducente pues continuaría:

1. ... Qxg5 12. Qf3 Bd7, 13. Bxf7 Kd7 14. Bd5 Nxe5 15. Qe2 d3 16. Qe1 Re8 17. f4 Qh5 fxe5
   Con ventaja clara para las blancas (+2.0)

Kasparov poses Karpov gambit from the Spanish opening! Sacrificing the kingside knight. No doubt this position is complex with multiple hidden lines but the Stockfish module suggests capturing the knight and subsequently returning the piece after White plays Qf3, resulting in a balanced position.

If Black tries to preserve the advantage piece by 12... Bd7, this would be counterproductive as it would continue:

1. ...Qxg5 12. Qf3 Bd7, 13. Bxf7 Kd7 14. Bd5 Nxe5 15. Qe2 d3 16. Qe1 Ke8 17. f4 Qh5 fxe5
   With a clear advantage for White (+2.0)

Posición resultante.

Kasparov sacrifica tu torre de a1, Anand no acepta este sacrificio inmediatamente, de haberlo hecho hubiera continuado:

16... Qxa1 17. Qh5+ g6 18. Qf3 Nd8 19. Qf6 Rg8 20. Bxe6 Be7 21. Bd7 + Kxd7 22. e6+ Nxe6 23. Qxa1 capturando la dama de Anand obteniendo gran ventaja material.

Kasparov sacrifices your a1 rook, Anand does not accept this sacrifice immediately, if he had he would have continued:
16... Qxa1 17. Qh5+ g6 18. Qf3 Nd8 19. Qf6 Kg8 20. Bxe6 Be7 21. Bd7 + Kxd7 22. e6+ Nxe6 23. Qxa1 capturing Anand's queen obtaining great material advantage.

Si en la jugada 19. Anand captura el alfil con 19... gxh6, Kasparov tendría mate en 2 jugadas, te invito a encontrar la solución !!

If on move 19. Anand captures the bishop with 19... gxh6, Kasparov would have mate in 2 moves, I invite you to find the solution!!

Si el peón negro captura el alfil de h6 las blancas juegan y dan mate en 2 jugadas; intentalo!

Una vez llegado el final Kasparov se impuso con gran técnica, primero neutralizando el progreso de Anand por el flanco de Rey y posteriormente haciendo valer la mayoría de peones en el flanco de dama, avanzandolos poco a poco hasta vencer la resistencia del maestro indio.

Finalmente Kasparov logró imponerse en el match con un marcador de 10½ - 7½.

Increíble muestra de destreza por parte de Kasparov, yo particularmente me quedo impresionado con estos jugadores, por la increíble precisión con que juegan. Al analizar está partida con el módulo Stockfish pude notar que Kasparov tuvo una precisión del 96% !!
No por otra cosa es considerado por muchos como el mejor ajedrecista de todos los tiempos.

Luego de esta victoria Kasparov se mantuvo en lo más alto de la élite ajedrecistica, hasta que fué derrotado por Vladímir Krámnik en 2000 y no fué hasta cinco años después que anunciaría su retiro del ajedrez profesional dejando un legado que será recordado por siempre.

Incredible display of skill by Kasparov, I am particularly impressed with these players, due to the incredible precision with which they play. When analyzing this game with the Stockfish module I could notice that Kasparov had an accuracy of 96%!!
For no other reason than that he is considered by many to be the best chess player of all time.

After this victory Kasparov remained at the top of the chess elite, until he was defeated by Vladimir Kramnik in 2000 and it was not until five years later that he announced his retirement from professional chess, leaving a legacy that will be remembered forever.
