Muy buenas a todos, cómo les va? Yo bien, con ganas de compartir música con ustedes.
Cómo ya les hacía comentado, uno de mis géneros favoritos del rock es el Glam Metal y para dar continuidad a la serie de solos de guitarra que tanto le dejaron al rock, me puse a indagar en la red con el fin de encontrar alguno que yo no conociera, entonces encontré uno de la banda sueca Europa.

Me gusta mucho esta banda pero debo admitir que he escucho poco de ella tomando en cuenta la cantidad de temas que tienen, sin embargo, hay un tema que escuche hace mucho tiempo pero la verdad nunca le preste demasiada atención, no es de mis favoritos claramente, pero navegando en internet me pude dar cuenta rápidamente es un tema que tuvo mucho éxito en su momento.

As I already told you, one of my favorite rock genres is Glam Metal and to give continuity to the series of guitar solos that left so much to rock, I began to investigate on the net in order to find one that I I didn't know, then I found one by the Swedish band Europa.

I really like this band but I must admit that I haven't heard much of it considering the number of songs they have, however, there is a song that I heard a long time ago but the truth is that I never paid too much attention to it, it's clearly not one of my favorites , but browsing the internet I could quickly realize it is a topic that was very successful at the time.

Se trata de "Superstitious", tema que fué lanzado en 1988 como sencillo del álbum Out Of This World, liderando las listas de Suecia y Noruega, mientras que en los Estados Unidos llegó al puesto 30 en el Billboard Hot 100.

Desde la semana pasada me puse a estudiar el solo, me esforcé bastante, no fue nada fácil dominarlo a plenitud la verdad. Este solo fue compuesto por el guitarrista Kee Marcello y se caracteriza por ser muy melódico al principio, posteriormente van apareciendo escalas ascendentes y descendentes en torno a la escala mixolidia de DO. Fue difícil superar las frases con bendings de tono y medio, por suerte las cuerdas sobrevivieron a esto.

Particularmente creo que estudiar este solo puede contribuir a mejorar la técnica, yo estaba trabado en un fragmento hasta que me puse a probar con diferentes posturas tanto de la mano izquierda como derecha y eso me facilitó la ejecución; siempre es un alivio darse cuenta que modificando la técnica es posible avanzar más rápido.

Since last week I began to study the solo, I worked hard, it was not easy at all to fully master the truth. This solo was composed by guitarist Kee Marcello and is characterized by being very melodic at first, later ascending and descending scales appear around the DO mixolydian scale. It was hard to beat the phrases with half tone bends, luckily the strings survived this.

I particularly believe that studying this can only contribute to improving the technique, I was stuck in a fragment until I began to try different positions of both the left and right hand and that made it easier for me to execute; It is always a relief to realize that by modifying the technique it is possible to advance faster.
