Joking around in the studio: The Percussive Sounds of the Geezer

Hey 3speakers!

So earlier this month while in the lockdown studio, my mate Olly (our percussionist) kept talking about how as a kid it was his dream to play drums in a UK Garage group. He grew up in west London and was a part of the scene as a young lad and would listen to the tracks of the day and drum along. In fact, whenever he has an empty studio, you'll find him turning on UK garage tracks and banging all the drums along and humming the vocals :D

So I thought it would be funny to make a quick UK Garage inspired track for him to drum with. Something original that was dedicated to him, I called it: "The percussive sounds of the geezer". We had a good laugh making this!
