From the desert Palace to the Eastern Palace

This is game #12 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 3 of the game Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past I managed to go from looking around at the new areas I was yet to explore which included things like rivers with creatures shooting things at me and caves with healing and other goodies lying in wait for me to obtain, to reaching the Eastern Palace area only to find out I was missing things which would help me get inside the palace and I was needing to head the opposite direction for now.

So next step was to get the first pendant which would be the Eastern Palace and that is where I went.
The courtyard area around the palace was filled with these jumping guard statues which were easy enough to defeat.
Inside would involve puzzles in the different rooms, things like pressure stones for activating doors that could be hidden under a vase or something, rolling balls that would need to be dodged side to side and finding the keys required to unlock the different doors in different rooms.

Finally after passing the different rooms and all the various enemies trying to beat me it was time for the boss. It started with a bunch of jumping statues but big ones, requiring arrows to defeat them which was a small challenge due to needing those dodging and running skills, then out comes a single red one that jumps toward you and tries to slam down on top to do damage. It was pretty straight forward and easy if you remember to avoid the slams down on you and then hit it to repeat those steps and get passed this first pendant boss and clear the Eastern Palace.

Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.

    Emulator used: RetroArch
    ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
